We went trick or treating on Saturday because Halloween was on Sunday this year!  It was pour rain at about 5:30, but by 6:00 it cleared up and everyone had a great time! Rock and Josie went with Dad on the Vespa and got a great stash!

Josie is 4!

 This sweet and sassy little thing is 4....I can't believe it!  Time flies so quickly.  But how could we be sad, she was so excited to celebrate....and that we did, for a few days at least!

 We started the day before her birthday (the 25th) with our annual lunch with her twin cousin Luke!  Last year we picked a place the moms wanted, so this year it was all about them....and Carl's Jr!  (It didn't stop us from bringing Cafe Paesan...way better than Carl's Jr!)

 They had a blast running around and playing, they are both so darling.

Next we hurried Josie to preschool and I went home to set up the house for the party!

 She was so excited! 

 Soon friends started to come and the party began!

 Josie's friends were Bria, Sophie, Becca, Ruby, Lucy, Aubrey and Kate!

 We started with the cupcakes and candles!

 Then we played a few games. Pin the nose on the clown, a craft and of course the high heeled pinata!  We didn't blind-fold the girls, and each girl got a good 5 or 6 hits....nothing!  So we had to let Rock go for it!  Finally the candy came pouring out!

The next day was Josie's real birthday.  Grandma and Grandpa took her to Cracker Barrel for lunch and let her pick a few treasures! When she came home she decorated her own birthday cake!

 Yep, this is what she picked!  Eggs, bacon, toast and OJ. I think she ate 10 pieces of bacon, it was hilarious!

Oh Happy Birthday baby girl, we are so happy you are in our family and bring us so much joy....with a lot of giggles and a little screaming along the way!

UEA 2010

For UEA weekend, we stayed close to home, but still played!

We went with our good friends the Tronsons up to the cabin at Sundance.

Grayson and Tanner have birthday's close together, so we turned it into their weekend.  They got to invite some guy friends to sleep over and then one night we brought up some girls for the party.  It turned out to be great!

One of the highlights was driving to the top of the Alpine loop and letting the guys do a few downhill mountain bike runs.

the photographer was CHLOE!  

I think there are some real treasures here....

Even Rock loved it.... loved it, AFTER he stopped freaking out about wearing Mom's helmet.... he couldn't get it off soon enough!

While we were taking the boys back up, Chloe and Josie had a little photo shoot....here is just a taste....there are at least 25 more!

The aspens were breathtaking!  Hans and I got to ride the loop the next morning... I love Utah!
