ZOO LIGHTS

We went to Zoo Lights on friday. It was freezing, so needless to say the kids didn't enjoy it too much. But I thought it was very creative and fun. Hardly any of the animals were out to see, but what can you expect? Maybe next year we will go when it isn't so cold...wishful thinking!!!

FESTIVAL OF TREES

This year my mom's family decided to donate a tree in memory of my aunt Kris. We had so much fun doing this. There were so many beautiful trees. I could not believe it. I was truly humbled by the experience. People donated a lot of time, money, effort and love into their trees. What humbled me the most though was that there were a lot of memorial trees, some for children others for mother, fathers, and grandparents...all that came to my mind as I looked at this trees was how thankful I am to my Heavenly Father and his Son, our Savior that we have the privelege of being with our loved ones again. I know beyond any doubt that FAMILIES ARE FOREVER!!!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!!

This year I have so much to be thankful for. But most importantly I am thankful for my husband and my kids. My life is so blessed because of these 3. I am so fortunate that my Heavenly Father has given me my family. I don't know what I would do without them. I am thankful for all that our Heavenly Father has given to ALL of us, especially in these days.

Cousins are the BEST!!!

"P" and "A" enjoyed spending the day with their cousins. When it was time to go "A" just kept going back to hug her cuz "F". We missed get a pic of "C", but we will catch him next time.

show me that SMILE

On monday I took "P" to get a haircut. PJ was at work so I wanted a picture to show him the new do. I asked "P" to smile so we could take a picture to send dad and this is what I got...

"A" getting ready for a TKO!

So at my parents, in their toy room, they have a set of boxing gloves. These are always the 1st thing to come out of that room. In this event "A" was intent on having the laces tied. She took them to grandpa who obliged and tied them. She then realized that she could not use her hands to get her sippy. So she used her teeth. That was all she needed to get started. She went forward and got grandpa and then proceeded to "attack" dad. By the end of her streak she had TKO'ed both of them. It really is exhausting to keep up with her.

Just like daddy....

This is exactly how dad sleeps...mouth wide open! Both "A" and "P" have this habit!

LITTLE GIRLS AND MASCARA

Both "P" and "A" decided to get into mom's makeup. "A" had it all over her face, hands and feet. "P" only had it on his hands...and the carpet. Time to lock up moms makeup!

AUNT J's HALLOWEEN PARTY

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY!!!!

When I asked PJ what he wanted for his birthday, he told me that he didn't want anything. After a little more nothing...I finally got "I want the kids to make me something" having already tried with the handprints and footprints from fathers day, I wasn't sure, so he told me to have them draw a picture...and this is what the kids wanted to do. They turned the sign into fingerpainting...needless to say PJ loved it.

OCTOBER CONFERENCE

We were very blessed today, we were able to go to the afternoon session of conference. The talks and counsel that we recieved from the prophet, President Thomas S. Monson, throughout the entire conference are proof of the power of revelation. I personally felt so blessed to be in the same room as the leaders of the church spoke and bore their personal testimonies.
I am so thankful for the family that I have. I know beyond any doubt that our Heavenly Father loves us and wants us to return home to him. We all are so blessed!!!

CRAZY HAIR DAY....

"A" really does have curly hair, but usually it will frizz out, so we comd it straight. This is right after her bath, so her hair is very curly.

PIANO AT GRANDMA W'S HOUSE

Both "P" and "A" loved playing the piano at Grandma's. They didn't want to leave, but it was past bed time, so grandma had to turn it off.

JUST MAYBE DADDY LEARNED A LESSON ABOUT CHOCOLATE

Dad gave "A" a WHOLE chocolate bar. Not to mention that it was a hot day. We are hoping that dad learned a valuable lesson.

I miss: my aunt kris.
I fear: not being with my family.
I feel: ready for bed, but blessed to have a bed to sleep in at night.
I hear: a baby crying because she doesn't want to go to bed.
I smell: garlic bread that we had for dinner tonight.
I crave: a cherry slurpee.
I search: to be educated in decisions that impact my family.
I wonder: if my kids will grow up happy.
I regret: caring about what people thought of me.
I love: my family.
I care: about how my kids grow up.
I always: smile...can't help it when "P" or "A" look at me.
I am not: a patient person...but I am working on it...it sure is humbling to have children.
I believe: in karma.
I dance: when me and "P" hear Carrie Underwood's "last name." "P" loves to dance to this song.
I sing: in the car and when I listen to my IPOD.
I fight: for what I believe in...although I love to fight with my bro, because he thinks he is always right, but rarely is.
I write: in a journal sometimes...need to work on that.
I lose: when I fight with my husband....there is never a winner there.
I win: when I am lucky.
I never: have gone skydiving but want to.
I listen: to my heart.
I am scared: of losing my dad.
I need: for PJ to pick a major and stick with it...wishful thinking ;)!
I am happy about: being alive.
Now I tag Bethany

Ride That Pony

The ranch that we went to had a pony ride and a hay ride. We thought that the kids would love the pony ride, so we took them to that first. "P" loved it!!! He was way excited to get on the little pony. He was mad when we tried to get him off of it. There was another little pony tied up and eating at the fence, and he was happy to sit on it for just a couple of minutes. He was still upset when we had to go though. "A" on the other hand screamed when she got close to the pony. Dad thought that she might be ok once the pony started walking, but daddy doesn't always know best. She screamed even louder, so her pony ride lasted all of about 3 feet. We thought that she might do better with the hay ride, but she was sleeping by the time we could have made it to the hay ride and we just decided to go home.

More of the Petting Zoo

We made some new animal friends

We went to the Triple D Ranch for my mom's work party and they had a little petting zoo. The kids LOVED it!!! "A" and "P" were both really interested in the alpaca and the ducklings. They were pretty tame animals, but we think that "A" must have gotten into something sweet because the sheep started to follow her around everywhere, and before too long, all the animals were following her around a little bit too. There was hay on the ground and the kids were able to just pick it up and feed the animals right out of their hands. The petting zoo was so much fun for them. "P" didn't even get mad when the pony head butted him!

MOMMY'S LITTLE HELPER

"P" has been very helful lately. He helped bring in some groceries today...I don't know whether or not it was because of the treat in his hand or because he simplky wanted to help...my guess....the TREAT!

ANOTHER EXAMPLE OF WHAT HAPPENS WHEN LITTLE BOYS DON'T TAKE NAPS....

"P" did not take a nap again today. He was too busy playing. I was doing laundry and when I came out of the laundry room it was way too queit. I went into the family room and this is what I saw.

CAN YOU DO THIS???

This little guy picked up this apple and ran. It was so funny. He put the whole thing in his mouth, so we wouldn't try to take it away.

"P", "A", and DAD...Oh and the TINMAN

Neither of the kids wanted to sit still for a pose with the TIN MAN...hence the mad face on "P"

RED BUTTE GARDENS

"P" and "A" loved the garden. It had water and ducks. They had so much fun playing around in the childrens garden. It was beautiful!!!
