Sand Dunes

Nice weather is finally here! 

We decided to take advantage of a sunny day and went to the sand dunes to play.

Teddy Bear Birthday Party

Saturday morning Nick told us it was his Teddy Bear's birthday.  I thought he was going to just do a pretend party with Abbie, but I was wrong.  Nick was determined to throw his bear a party.  He even had to go to the store and buy him a present with his own money.  Nick planned the whole thing.  We played a game of Sorry, blew out candles, ate brownies, and opened a present.  It was a lot of fun!

Our New Adventure

Logan has been our excitement for this year.  As you can tell, Abbie and Nick love to help take care of him (unless it's changing his diaper:).  We are glad to have him in our family.

 

 

 

September School Time

School started last month.  The exciting thing was that both kids are attending school this year.  Nick only attends school on Mondays and Wednesdays but it is still a wonderful break for Mom.  Abbie started first grade this year and is getting used to a full day schedule.  Nick is in Preschool and is enjoying every chance he has to go.  Every day he goes, he runs to the door waving as he goes and yells, "Bye Mom!"  No fear!  Maybe it's because he is the only boy and he gets to spend two hours with a bunch of girls.  I don't know, but I'm glad he enjoys going.

June Happenings

Nick's excitment this summer is that he learned how to ride his bike without training wheels.  He tries to ride a bike any chance he gets.

Abbie is playing on a T-Ball team this summer.  She really enjoys getting a chance to hang out with a bunch of her friends twice a week.
