Feeling Rich

On the way home from Utah, I was thinking about my short trip and I told GG that it was a rich experience and there wasn't anything I regretted. I loved spending time with my mom's sisters at lunch listening them talk to each other and gleaning a little more knowledge about their family dynamics.  I loved the time we had with GG's family and Boo being able to play with her cousins. I loved seeing family that I haven't seen for many years. I loved being in the same room with all my siblings. I loved the time we had. I wish it wasn't for a funeral but what greater gift can you give your grandfather than to have a sweet reunion of your posterity?

On the way home, I heard a Weird Al song (right?) "If I Was A Millionaire". At the end of the song he says "If I had a million dollars.... I'd be rich." Well, I don't have money but look at what I do have:

 (All of my grandpa's grandchildren together for the VERY FIRST time ever!)

(All of my siblings together for the first time since 2006)

I may not have a million dollars...but I lots and lots of family, and I feel rich.

Gender Reveal

Halloween in Salt Lake City- 2012

 This year we tried something new for the annual Halloween Party we sent 4 groups out on a picture scavenger hunt, we had the SNICKERS, BUTTERFINGERS,KIT KATS AND REESES, these pictures are some of what they came back with. They had to find the thing on the list, then draw a verb out of a pumpkin and do that action with whatever they found on the list. Ashley is playing dead by the dancing ghosts.

What's New

Just to let all of you know what's going on in Sean's life right now.  He was called as 1st councilor in our Bishopric today.  He is a little nervous and a little excited I think, our kids were a little shocked, all Bradley had to say was "If Dad sit's on the stand from now on who will give us gum during the meeting?"  I think I will be a little more up for the whole thing when the blood clots in both my legs that have been keeping me down for the past week are gone.
