A Little Early for Easter...
But who can resist stuffing a little girl into a basket of fluff! I was going through my costume boxes and couldn't help myself. It's a good thing I don't have a job.

Valentine's Weekend
This was our fifth Valentine's Day as a couple and we had a fun week. We had a neighborhood party for the kids where Brinley received her first batch of Valentines, we went out for a family date, and I fixed a fancy dinner (and made the nastiest cake of my life and destroyed my kitchen).

The Sweetness is Five Months Old
There's something about passing the five month mark that makes me realize Brinley isn't a newborn anymore. I can't believe how different she is from even a month or two ago. She is such a silly, friendly girl!

So Pathetic
To view this post with some really pathetic pictures, click HERE.
These last two weeks have been pretty sad in babyland. Brinley has had a nasty bought of bronchitusy joy and has been on breathing treatments three times a day. Not so fun for babies. Great fun for her mom too. However, aside from the faucet noses, coughing fits and sleepless nights she has been handling life pretty well. After the first time we gave her the breathing treatment she has sat like a stone through them. I turn on the TV for visual stimulation and she sits without moving staring straight ahead with the little mask strapped to her poor little face. I don't know if she is being a good little girl or has just submitted herself to the sad reality that is her life and figures she might as well not struggle. It is a little unnerving, actually. She has not been so nice during the countless instances of nose-sucking aspirator fun and screams whenever I come near her with the thing.
Hopefully we are near the end of this. I am almost ready to hibernate in my house for the rest of the winter so that I don't infect my child with neighbor child and fellow gym and shopping goer germs. Sigh.
