Stripped house

Noooooo floor as of tonight on the entire first floor. No where to be. No where to sit. Massive dust and dirt- I'm a wreck now. Defiantly cracking. Finding "Bob the builder blood" all over the kitchen as well- how gross and alarming for his sake! We will tough It out for trick or treat tomorrow night then must evacuate all 7 ( Judy is here) plus dogs for 24 hours....

Where is my toilet?

We are getting tile that looks like wood put in starting Monday. Bob the builder removed if all- including our toilet. Seriously. It's gone- we had to search the house! We just found on the back porch behind a bench!

Park Square Party

Last night the pizza place at Park Square put on a great Halloween bash. Mason had a ball getting dressed up and running around with his pal, Preston. The night ended tragically for his tootsies though. He took a spill on a sidewalk crack and ripped off one tail nail, part of another toenail and had a rock imbedded. At midnight while he slept we cut off the hanging nails and removed the rock. Not sure what to do until the bare nail bed grows something else there....

Saturdays are for soccer

Sis has a highly dramatic game yesterday. Let's just say that the parents of the team were very "passionate" and did a lot of screaming. There was an injured player on their team and the whistle wasn't blown. Our team scored on the play and their Coach came out furious with the ref, he got thrown from the fields so he pulled his whole team off with him. An awkward victory for the girls....

Kassidy's braces

Oct 19th Kassidy got her braces on! She was pretty sore for a few days but has been a trooper.

Columbus Day Classic

Last weekend we were on the road from home to Tampa 3 days in a row. Friday night the girls were tied until the last sec before half time. A goal sailed in against them that couldn't be stopped. At halftime the skies got really dark and sure enough as soon as the whistle blew for the girls to start lightening struck and game cancelled. It counted as a loss and we really think they would have won that game. Saturday and Sunday were both wins but no prizes or trophies this time....maybe next!

Making Halloween Tees

Every year the preschool and VPK classes make t-shirts with the class to wear to the Pumpkin Patch and Fall Festival. Typically they are painted but I decided to try fabric instead with fusbile webbing. It's a lengthly process! Kids cut out a spider body and legs then glued it down as they saw fit. At home we cut them out and then traced them onto the webbing/fabric and cut that out. Ironed the fabric spider to the shirt and soooooo cute! Took them back to school and the kids added googly eyes and tried to draw a web with chalk. That didn't go so well. At home I used a fabric glue and glitter to add a web in the general area where the child chalked. Can't wait to see the kids in their tees!

This game was smoking hot and love-bug infested! Matthew got thrown into the line left and right to fill holes because boys were getting hurt. He took a facemask to the back that left a nice bruise himself! Football photography is really hard. The boys get out there and its tough to find Matthew before the play breaks and then once they all huddle in I'm lost. Therefore most of my pictures are not action shots...
