Hexagon Thank you cards

Good mornin' Peeps!

Today I have a couple of Thank you cards I made, I hope you like them. I'm currently working on some tags for candy treat bags for Braelynn's 1st birthday! Yep, she's a year old next week....I can't believe it!!! Time sure does fly by fast! I will have some great news that I will be able to share with you next month!

I used PTI Happy Hexagons Mini Stamp Set, I also used the Cover Plate: Hexagon Die to stamp the hexagons & keep them in a straight line,  You can click HERE to see & get Nicole's color planner & her tutorial on this plate, I used various inks & scored 2 lines on top & bottom of hexagons to define that area. Stamped my Thank you & added some crystals.

Inside I used a little stamp that came with the PTI set & some Washi tape.

SU Honeycomb embossing folder, SU decorative label punch, Creative Memories hexagon punch (retired), SU stamps & various DSP.

Magical Masking Tape Technique

Good mornin' Peeps!

Hope your all enjoying your summer...I can't believe it's the last day of July. The summer is just flying by & in a few weeks Braelynn will be a year old...wowzer!

Picnic anyone???

Anyone want to join me for a picnic? How cute is this basket of goodies? As soon as I saw this on Lorri"s blog I knew I had to make one...it's just too darn cute!!! My Paper Pumpkin - June kit

Good morning Peeps!

Boy, has it been hot, hot, hot, not just here but all across the country. I sure hope that you are all staying cool! It's supposed to get a little cooler here this week...around the 80's & not so humid. I know I haven't been posting lately but I've been busy & just started a yoga class. Had my 2nd class this past week & I'm not sure yet if I really like it but time will tell.

Today's cards are from the June SU MY Paper Pumpkin kit, I have their version & then I have my version using some PTI hexagon stamps. I also inked the zig zag stamp that came with the kit in red & then kissed the heart stamp to that to make some zig zag hearts & then added some twine & popped up 3 hexagons on the front. Hope you like it!

Goodbye tension...Hello pension!!!

Good mornin' peeps!

Well today's project was something Dan asked me to make for his boss's retirement party, so I sat at my desk & thought of what she might like & came up with a box of all occasion cards. I remembered that Deanna had a box on her blog that I liked & the size she made is perfect for A2 size cards. Once I found it again I went upstairs to work & made the box first, then a few days later made the top of the box along with the 2 sympathy cards to match the box. After that I set out to make a few more cards along with some cards that I had in my stash. Then I made her retirement card, I've made this card before & love this image & card design...it's my go to design for retirement cards (unless it's for a male, then I will have to come up with a different image & I have a few in mind, hahaha!!!) Dan told me that she loved it! That made me a happy crafter! Don't you love it when people appreciate your work?

I put 10 cards & envelopes in the box - a mixed set of birthday, wedding, sympathy, baby, get well, etc.
