So, this blog is finally out of space for pictures! I'm surprised it's lasted this long, but it always comes at the worst times. I'll have to do my new blog and catch up blogs when I'm feeling better. Tomorrow morning is my surgery, so I'll be away for a little while. See you soon.

For FHE tonight we planted pumpkin seeds. David gave the lesson and related it to growing our testimonies. It was really good. Oakley is so excited about her pumpkins. These are a variety that can get as big as 200lbs.

Today David finished rebuilding the rock wall in front of our house. The other day when the excavator was here we had him tear out the portion of the wall that is closest to the driveway because when we had the guy put the wall in originally he didn't follow the marked curvature, so the wall ended up with this crazy, weird curve and it drove us nuts. But now it's fixed and looks better than ever. Our lawn also got it's first cut today. A freshly cut lawn always looks fabulous!

Swim lessons today! The kids wore life jackets today and worked on jumping in the pool by themselves. They also started working on the back stroke.

Today after church Oaks took a drive...

but didn't get very far and the battery ran out...

so we went back home and got her bike.

Later in the afternoon we went to the Tulip Festival

with aunt Janice and Irie. 

We had bunches of fun!

 The girls enjoyed a nice bubbly bath to soak off the dirt

and an ice cream cone!

I try and try and try and try....

...to get a good picture, but sometimes this is as good as it gets!

The earth is moving at our house today! We got lots done, but it looks kinda like a bigger mess now. We'll do more excavating this next week, we just ran out of time.

David and I are feeling better today, not great but enough better to get up, get dressed and do something. David had to go to a dentist appt earlier this afternoon, so  that forced him out of the house and by the time he got back he was feeling pretty good. He worked out in the yard and borrowed the neighbors tractor to use to get ready for the excavators that are coming tomorrow. Oaks is still feeling really crappy. Still had a fever and wiked gross cough. If she isn't any better tomorrow, we'll be going back to the doctor. I was able to get the house picked up today and conquer some laundry. We're still sickies, but I think we're moving in the right direction.

Okay,  just kidding about Oakley doing her Show n' Tell today. She woke up really sick and wasn't able to go to school. I took her to the doctors to get checked out because now David is sick and on an antibiotic too. The doc said she probably just had a virus and didn't give her a prescription. When he was checking her ears out he said "There is something in her ears. It is round and an aqua teal color." I had no idea what it could be. We tried to get Oakley to tell us if she put anything in her ears, but she couldn't remember putting anything into them. The doctor was able to get them out of her ears. It ended up being those water beads. They are like jelly marbles that grow in water. There are hundreds of them in a pack and kids can play with them like sand or water. Anyway, there were 2 in one ear and 1 in the other, so it was a very good thing that we went to the doctor, so he could find those. Hopefully we'll all get feeling better around here soon. The house is a major disaster and we are all sick of sleeping and watching tv all day!
