We are finally pregnant and having Twins!

We are so excited to be pregnant and to be having twins. I have had so many ultrasounds thus far I think I know what they will look like already. Avery thinks that every picture I bring home is one more baby growing inside of me. Which means we are up to about 125 babies. She is super excited to be a big sister and makes sure that I know everyday that my belly is getting bigger. Just want to make sure to tell everyone who has helped us out, Thank You sooo much! We have the best of friends and the greatest family, we love you all!

Alice in Wonderdress

So this Halloween I took Avery to the Disney store and she wanted to be "Alice in Wonderdress" she said, so we went off that and with a little help from Savers , Walmart and the Spirit store we were able to come up with this ensemble. Creepy isn't it.

My mom was in town and volunteered to be my Ace of spades.

Mother Nature's Farm

So this year for our farm experience we went to Mother Nature's Farm in Gilbert instead of our usual routine of going to Schnepf Farms. Although I prefer the later this was reasonablly less money and we still had a great time. This is Avery with her buddy Cailyn in the background.

Soccer

So we signed up for soccer and played up with a bunch of her friends. Anyway I thought it would be fine since she is the same size as all of them, but I forgot that emotionally we may still be a little behind. Example, everytime someone kicks the ball away from her she cry's or pouts. It's so fun being a soccer mom! I love it.

This would be my kid on the field in the same place the ball was taken away from her. The team is all on the other side of the field and she will shortly jump up just in time for her to not get trampled. Then back to the same positon after the play is over.

Anyway Saturday mornings have become the dreaded day for me and Jeff, dragging her out to the field screaming as we try to pull on her soccer socks and put on her orange shirt as she screams. I don't want to be a soccer player. "I want to be a CHEER LEADER"

Avery's 4th Birthday with Friends

Yep I pretty much didn't take any pictures of this party probablly because it was extremely last minute and I had 8 toddlers hyped up on cupcakes, crackers, cookies, popcorn and candy. Jeff brought home the projector and the kids all watched Bolt or actually Bolt was playing while kids ran around the house screaming and having a free for all with the snack table. It was memorable.

Avery's 4th Birthday Party with the Gollaher's

Meet Cheesy if you haven't had him shoved in your face and had him lick you already. Avery loved this Giraffe at the zoo and wanted to get it. Threw a huge fit when leaving the zoo not knowing Grandma had bought it for her already. When she got it a few days later for her Birthday she was so excited. She named him cheesy for whatever reason, possibly because she just might love him as much as she loves cheese.

Since this day Cheesy has gone everywhere with us, and my favorite hobby is giving him frequent trips to the washing machine.

Utah Trip and Hogle Zoo

This multi-tasking hanging out picture just cracks me up. Avery and Baby Kate were just chilling outside at Grandma's house with Braden. While we were up in Utah my Dad and Mom took us all to Hogle Zoo for the day. We had so much fun. My mom and Avery have something in common. They both love the Giraffe's luckily the baby giraffe had been born the week before and we got to see it that day.

Beauty and the Beast GNO with family

My Aunt Collette brought Ashley one of my twin cousins down to go to school at MCC. So of course GGma and my Mom hitched a ride, so of course I planned a GNO I knew everyone would enjoy. We got to see my friend Janae be Miss Potts and it was so good but hillarious too. We had a great time! Avery and I hitched a ride back up to SLC to continue the party after a week long stay of insane shopping and activities. Brittany,GGma, Collette, Olivia,Ashley,Lexi,Mom and Me

Primary Pioneer Party

So the best part about this primary party Avery tells me was "throwing Poop" They had made buffalo chips and as an activity they got to see who could throw the chips the furthest. The game was supposed to be played so they would see who could land the poop in the circles but the sunbeams don't have great poop aim.

So in the stick pull game as you can tell no one held a candle next to my large strong sunbeam. She pretty much kicked everyone's butt. J.S. would have been proud

Sarah you need to get you one of these

Salt Water Taffy and Dried Apple chips were the prizes after you won the button game and others. I didn't play but I raided the jars of candy afterwards. I think I made it obvious that I had forgotten the deliciousness of Salt Water Taffy when I spent a half an hour looking for it in Walmart while on a date with Jeff and paying a sitter. I didn't find any but my friend Danielle took pity on me and brought me the leftovers that following Sunday.

Then they built a bridge with the older kids help to cross the blanket river. It was like a Dora the Explorer Adventure. We finished off by making our own butter and eating it on yummy rolls. While watching a pioneer movie. There was so much more that they did the activity was so amazing. My kiddo loved it! So did I.

4th of July Parade

This 4th of July we went to a Bike Parade in one of the communities close by with my friend Sarah and Avery's friend Ellie. We decorated their bikes the night before and they had so much fun showing them off in the parade!

After the parade we ate donuts and hung out. While ants ate the rest of my donut I watched as Avery had someone's pet parrot hang out on her head. She got to feed it and play with it a while and thought that was pretty fun. Then we went over the the splash pad and playground and found...

Ferry the ferret. Didn't realize it was bring your bizarre pet to the Park Day I could have sworn we were just celebrating the 4th of July!

Big Surf with Smith Cousins

Jeff's sister brought her kids over one week just to hang out. Avery is always excited because she loves playing with all the siblings. She often tells me she wants a big family like Raven. Raven is the girl on the left. Skyler is her brother in the middle. This was on the way to the waterpark and they were so excited!

Grandma Murray's Birthday

When Grandma Murray came to help with Uncle Joe's inci"dent" we celebrated her Birthday before she left. Avery helped me make a Strawberry White Cake and it was delicious. We gave Grandma "Breaking Dawn" the last book in the Twilight series so she could finish the set. Happy Birthday Grandma!

So Thursday night we got an Emergency phone call. Jeff's brother Joe had been playing Basketball and had a head on collisionwith another player who happens to be just fine, unfortunate for Joe he ended up in an ambulance and in the trauma center. His skull was crushed in to the point where you could almost fit a small size ping pong ball into his head. This picture was taken later after it had swollen and visually didn't look as deep, however after surgery the next afternoon he had two metal plates to lift the dent and hold together the bones. Despite the unfortunate event Joe is recovering nicely and with the help of family and friends I think they will pull through this quickly. We are all praying for a quick good recovery for you Joe! 2 Days after surgery...

Desert Botanical Gardens

Two weekends ago we went with Jeff's brother Joe and his family to the Desert Botanical Gardens, we saw lots of cactus plants and lizards, Jeff and Avery found a really long black and white king snake too. I can't wait to go camping in the Arizona wilderness.

Beauty School

So Avery is really into doing hair right now. She tells me all sorts of ways to style her hair. we are constantly changing the hair on her barbies, ponies, and dolls (big pain, when trying to pull out little elastics from plastic hair) so lately she has wanted to do our hair. Sunday she did Dad's hair and after begged to do mine. So with 2 minutes to spare before we needed to leave for church I turned around and let her run a brush through my already styled hair, what I didn't know is she had a handful of gel which she then mashed into the back of my hair smearing all over, needless to say it was a lesson learned. At least it wasn't permanent, she could have had scissors...

Arizona Grand Resort

So a couple weeks ago we went with about 12 different families to stay at the Arizona Grand Resort. We spent Friday and Saturday at the Oasis Water Park floating in the lazy river, catching waves and rays and for the wedgie loving a few extreme slides . We caught a late night movie in the wave pool after some delicious Mexican Food and then hung out in the suites till we couldn't stay awake any longer. We'll definitely be adding this to our reoccurring summer vacay's!

The first day Avery spent most of the day without floatis swimming under water, I swear she was under water most of the day coming up only for air. Her eyes were so bloodshot red from opening them under the water that we had to buy these goggles for her the next day. She looks ridiculous in them but she loves them!

ABC's 123's and Target

So over the past couple of months Avery started showing a lot of interest in Letters and how to write things. She has pretty much mastered her name A-V-E-R-Y, however, usually spelled backwards and then M-O-M and D-A-D. The other night she wrote them in the order in which she learned them and then there was another word that we couldn't really decipher when we asked her what it said she repeated to us. "That spells, Avery, Mom, Dad, and Target" Those are the important things in life right?

I suppose we do shop there a lot in fact everytime Avery gets something from me she looks up at me with a big smile and says "oh thank you mom, you buy that for me at Target" Usually she is right but when she's not we just smile and nod!

U Crack me Up!

So the other Day I was washing all of my pots and pans that upsettingly don't fit into my dishwasher when Avery asked pointing at the Crock Pot. " Mom what's that? " So I responded "That's a Crock Pot" She then repeated "Oh, Crack n' Pot" I then corrected her and she repeated it again saying "ohhh, Crack n' pot" again, I corrected her one last time and then she fell to the floor in a fit saying, "that's what I said! CRACK N POT" so I left it at that.
