Saturday at the Park

Saturday it was still at little cool, but we had to take advantage of the sun and we headed to our little park.  We are so happy to be able to play outside again.  Being outside with my kids helped me to remember that "Life is Beautiful!"  My friend Mindy loves to use that phrase and I think it is perfect!  I want to see the beauty that is in life more often!  

Valentine's Week

The week before Valentine's I wanted Lucy to wear something special to church.  She wore this beautiful little smocked dress made by my mom when I was Lucy's age.  The perfect little dress showing off Grandma's Love!   

Leo has really been into knights ever since we went on our "Knight" Date!  

We made Valentine mailboxes for everyone in the family and each day we made some Valentines to put into our boxes!  Leo really loved his box!  

The kids have been playing so well lately!  I love to hear them laugh and giggle with each other!  

Allen and I had a fabulous Valentine's Date filled with dinner, dancing, 80s music and the beginnings of an upcoming music video!

Lucy has found a love for shoes.  She will always bring me her shoes to put them on.

Last night Leo and I went on a special night.  Chic-fil-A put on a Date "KNIGHT" for moms and sons.

Snow Day!

A couple of weeks ago it snowed in the south.  It was the first time Leo had seen snow.  He loved it until he realized he was really cold.  Lucy on the other hand did not love it so much.  The town basically shut down for two days, even though the snow and ice were only there for two days.  It was a lot of fun to have daddy around a little more for a couple of days.  Although the snow was fun, I am ready for warm southern weather!
