Kaity goes to Homecoming

This past weekend was Coronado High School's Homecoming. My little sister, Kaity, went with one of her guy friends that goes to that school. She looked so gorgeous!

The bump

It is crazy what a few months does to your body when you are pregnant.

The first picture was from the day I found out the baby's sex (and I actually thought I was showing). The second was from this past Saturday, a day after my most recent ultrasound. Hopefully my baby bump doesn't grow as much in the next 11 weeks, but who am I kidding. . . it's gonna be huge. At last week's ultrasound Noah weighed 2 lbs. 7 oz. and based on his measurements his estimated due date is December 13. . . wouldn't that be nice?!

Alaska, Here I Come!

Sam recently moved for Louisiana to Alaska to finish his summer of selling alarm systems. Since I was super sick most of the summer, the only times I was able to see Sam was when he would come visit me. I have been feeling better lately and don't think I can wait another month to see him again. So, in a little over a week I am off to visit him up in Alaska. Hopefully I can make the plane ride without getting too queasy.

Anyone need an Amazing Rug?

I have been eyeing this rug from anthropologie for a long time.

I thought it would look amazing under my kitchen table. It finally went on sale, and I was about to snatch it up when I realized yellow might not be practical in a dining area. One spaghetti sauce spill and it would be ruined. Too bad the salmon color won't work in my space.

It's Official. . .

As everyone knows,  it has taken me a really long time to change my name from Sanford to Edgar. I just had a hard time parting with my maiden name since I got married at 19 ( I wish I would have just changed it back then). The church automatically changed my name to Edgar, and after about a year of marriage I got used to the sound of Erin Edgar and was ready to make the change. But, I had so many excuses and they just kept piling up, so I never switched it. I thought I was taking the easy way out, I couldn't have been more wrong. During the past three years. . .Sam and I opened a joint checking account with the names Sam Edgar and Erin Sanford, we bought a house as Sam Edgar and Erin Sanford, I renewed my driver's license and later my passport as Erin Sanford, and we filed our taxes for 3 years as Sam Edgar and Erin Sanford. We are celebrating our 4th wedding anniversary in December, and two weeks ago I finally made the big switch from Sanford to Edgar. I got a new driver's license, social security card, changed my bank info., and ordered new credit cards. It feels good to finally legally be Erin Edgar, I can't believe it took a baby to motivate me enough to go through all the annoying steps it takes to legally change my name. I love Sam so much and am happy to have his name. When Noah is born, there will be no confusion. . . his last name is Edgar.
