Here are some shots from around Providence I took today while Scott was ice skating with the kids...

This is right where the river actually runs underneath the huge Mall

"Waterfire" is held here after dark on select days. Fire pits are put in the middle of the water and lit for a very cool atmosphere.

A stranger offered to take our family photo. It's a little blurry but at least I can prove I was there today!

November Zoo Trip

The past couple of days we've had fantastic weather in the 60's. We took advantage of the sunshine on Friday to visit some of our favorite friends at a little Zoo around the corner. We went with our Friends the Smigels. While Scott had to work, we kept ourselves busy on Black Friday by avoiding the shopping Zoo and visiting the real one!

Happy Thanksgiving 2011!

We had a fun Thanksgiving this year (but missed family). We started the morning out by inviting our favorite Canadian neighbors over for breakfast. We hung out in our PJ's most of the morning and celebrated their first American Thanksgiving. Our afternoon and evening was spent at another friends house for a FABULOUS dinner.


Here we are getting roll rolling lessons. Our friend Melanie on the right is whose house we were invited to. One of our Missionaries (from Nevada) is in the back and another gentleman from our Ward is on the back left. We learned the two handed speed roll! :)
