1st day of CNY, went nowhere but temples.
Before going to bed already went to pray near my house.
Morning wake up go another temple. Then go KL's Thean Hou Temple in the evening.
Later went to aunt's house.

Every year during CNY 2nd day,the house will be full of my father-side families & relatives.
The aunties, uncles, grandaunties, granduncles and cousins. Seldom see them.
Came in the afternoon and left at night.
My father brought all of them out for dinner. Nearly 40 of us.
My father's cousin bro who has been studying then work in Japan for few years managed to take leave for CNY. Not that old la. Still in his twenties.
He found out that I like Tvxq from the posters in my room. Then he told me he seen them before when he passed by their fanmeeting or something. Envious. But that time he still don't know them. So I told him if he ever see them again then get me their signatures. But I don't think he got the time since Japanese are so hardworking and work whole day.
His Ipod got lots of Tvxq and other Korean singers' song. lolz.
His ex is also a Korean. Pretty unnie.

Next day see some of them again. Went to my grandaunty house in Sg Buloh. Haven't been there in years. My father's cousin brought us go eat crab.

Off to my aunt's house in Seremban on 4th Day of CNY.
Came back quite early.

On the 5th day, since my father don't want to go to my grandaunty's house in Kuala Selangor, we stayed at home doing nothing. Only sent some things to the old folk's home and orphanage.

1 and a half more day then it is back to college again.

It's Chinese New Year. Firecrackers are going boom boom boom but the police car is nowhere to be seen. Police car could be seen patrolling during previous years CNY's eve but not this year.

CNY break

Went to find MK to get her class timetable cos Chua wants it.
Used another way to get to Chem lab and saw Nescafe truck. Grab a cup of free Nescafe.
Still managed to be one of the earliest to reach lab.
Physics practical end half an hour early again.
Every Friday the college will be empty earlier. It feels like my class is the only class left.
Very quiet.
Saw the LEO club members having meeting but I didn't go in.
Have to meet up with LAN project group members a while.
Only me, Su Li, Jeng Yee, Kenny, Ken Ming and Yee Fai there. The other 4 went home.
Actually supposed to go back at 5pm but left at 3.30pm since there is nothing to do.

Only Su Li have to shoot her scene. Acting as a pregnant girl who smokes.
We went to the back of the carpark. If Inti's students looked out of the window they get to see what we doing.
The dog plushy that was the fake baby was mistreated by Kenny. He just throw it on the dirty floor when not in use.
I was laughing like crazy all the time cos it is super funny.

And CNY is here. The holiday comes too early.
After the holiday then teachers will be giving test and timetables might change.
Bio, Maths, Chem and Physics test coming up. So dead cos got no idea what to read.

Many people from other states will be on their way back home. Saw lots of people bringing luggages. And the highways will be super jam.
And KL roads will be kinda empty. haha.
And today lots and lots of students wear red. Some classes have the red theme but some just wears randomly. Everywhere you look there will be someone in red.

So, Mr Peter Ting suddenly said these towards the end of Bio class, "Whenever I go all the 3 classes, the students will be smiling/laughing. Is it because I look like a clown? Or am I making a fool of myself? Or the students are just happy to see me?"
Then I looked at his clothes. Quite colourful like carnival/circus theme.
White shirt with pink stripes. Baby blue tie. White-framed glasses.
My classmates are communicating more and the class is starting to get noisy.
Everyone talked so much during Bio and no one heard Mr Peter telling us to calm down. Then he went hyper and shouted "CLASS..."Everyone quiet.
Doris is cute when she talk. Don't know whether she talked like that before this or she have the German accent now.

Happy Holiday peoples.
As usual, during CNY peoples easily get sick.
The weather is very hot.
People eat lots of mandarin orange and take in lots of 'rubbish'-carbonated drinks, candies, cookies, chocolate andt etc- into bodies.
So, drink lots of water.

The Big Day

The Big Day @ ECA Day for all '09 Jan intake students.
It started at 3.30 pm but I went for a talk.
Those performance started at 3.30 or 4 but I missed the interesting ones. Eg. dance club performance. Haiyo.

And the free foods and drinks all gone after the talk.
Luckily I managed to eat the free pizza before I went for the talk. But, no ice cream and drinks for me.
The big problem is the sun is freaking hot and we have to stand under it.
Wonder how those people even have the mood to perform. And lots of people were playing dodge ball.

We can join a maximum of 3 clubs.
In the end, I joined AIESEC( some world issues, leadership & management thingy), LEO Club(fund-raising/charity thingy) and Arirang club( Korean thingy). haha
LEO club members are 'Leos'...I'm a Leo. lolz
Left after 5pm when it started raining.

Went for Korean food during yesterday's lunch with Min Yee, MK and June.
2nd time there.
The 'kimchi jjigae(kimchi stew)' super nice.
And LAN teacher also went and eat there. Luckily he didn't see me. haha
Don't even think he will recognise me. He is a 'lil weird.

Today Doris brought a packet of gummy bears bought from Germany and the whole packet was passed from one person to another, row by row during LAN.
Everyone was like small kids desperate for candies, asking for more.
In the end, we finished the whole packet. Doris was feeling weird why we like gummy bears so much. lolz
In between, the whole packet accidentally passed to the other class's boys. Then a guy turned behind and shouted, "PM9 rocks!" just because he get to eat some.

LAN teacher suddenly say give us quiz = assessment today.
He told us to write an essay about what is moral education and the importance of studying moral and practice good moral in our daily life. So lame.
Just wrote lots of craps but still consider little compared to what others wrote.

Physics is quite boring.
Bio is just like normal.
Chem's teacher is ......... speechless. And questions not easy to understand.
Thinking skills is meaningless. haha. Always with the arguments, reasons, conclusion....
Maths is killing me. It can get confusing sometimes.

Another new girl joined the class today. Making it a total of 30.

CSS talk

Actually, yesterday's City Survival Skill talk was not bad. The guy who spoke made it quite interesting.
I was late cos my physics class ends at 3pm but the talk starts at 2pm.
We finished our Physics practical early so Mr Ananthan let us off half an hour early again.
When I get to the hall, it was all full. I was sitting in the last 2nd row. Didn't expect so many people to be there.
I think only 4 girls from my class(include me) attend. I was with Xin Yi, and I saw Michelle and Hui Wen.
Me, Min Yee and Steph left at 4pm during the break because my dad came already. Can't continue to listen for another 2 hours.
And again, there is free food: curry puffs, doughnuts, malay kuih and drinks. But we didn't eat.

How is the SC party?

It's gonna be a very long post.

The A levels party is at 3pm after my last class.
My classmates and I are the earliest to be in the hall.
When more students came, they told us to group ourselves according our birth months.
In the end, I am the only August baby together with Clarissa, a member of the student council I think. Her dad is a Malaysian but her mum is from New Zealand. She is very pretty but super skinny. Like a sheet of paper.
Since July babies also not many so we combined. But all guys.

My group was named 'ABC' and we elect a leader then start the 1st game.
Actually Su Li was one of the July babies but she left before the game even started.
There is a list of things that we need to find : Dyed hair, specs, hair clip, a make up item, summons, shoelace, guy's belt and the president's secret crush(??). Maybe there are more things.
I gave them a dyed hair and hair clip. We can't find any summons and of course the president's crush.

After 1st game then more peoples came. MK came this time. So, there is 3 more girls and a few more guys.
The weird thing is all the girls are August babies and all the guys are July babies.
I think less than half of the A level students attend the party.
The girl from MK class has the same birthday as me. And she likes purple too. haha
My group members mostly from PE(pre-engineering) class, 3 from PM (pre-med), 2 from PL(pre-law) and another from ICPU. ICPU student in A levels party lolz.
So, we called everyone the engineer, doctor and lawyer.

While waiting for 2nd game,we do introductions and some of us have balloons fight since there are lots of balloons where my group is. The 'doctor' and 'lawyer/alien' beside me keep throwing balloons at me when I not looking. I end up hitting both of them with the balloons. haha
For 2nd game, we have to randomly hold someone's hand and try to free ourselves.
Don't know how but in the end, we found out our group actually formed 2 circles after everyone is free. haha

For 3rd game, we sent out to people to fight for 6 largest balloons they can find. Then we have to taped the 6 balloons together to form the highest structures.
So, we PM and PL students left the work for the PE students. haha
But of course help once in a while.
The 2nd balloon from bottom was out of place, but we still manage to form the 2nd highest.

Then, there is a dance performance by the seniors.
Then, we can eat. Free food: Sausages, nuggets, Oreo cookies, choc cake. The choc cake is nice.
When eating, Kuan Yee(or that's how it is pronounced) from my group planned to introduce 2 of his friends to me. But I told him me and Ching Yee are from the same class. So, he introduced the girl instead.

Then they announce the winning group which gets a hamper. I see that my group has the 2nd highest score.
Me and MK left at 5.45pm when it looks like the party ended.
I managed to get home like 2 hours later.
Overall, the party is nice since we get to make new friends, have fun and free food. haha
Have to thanks the seniors from student council for organizing this for us.

Doris from my class who have been missing since orientation finally showed up yesterday. But absent today.
She just came back from a 1 year student exchange programme to Germany and she is from Sabah.
So basically, she is 1 year elder than us.
She sat besides me during Thinking skills class and I talked to her. Her English is very good with a strong accent. But definitely not a 'banana'. Her mandarin is very good too.

Student council

Me and MK got nothing better to do so, after our classes at 3pm, we went for the A levels student council recruitment thingy.
Actually got no idea what the student council do except for organizing events.
According to the current council president, who is a genius and hardworking according to the others : in order to be a member of the student council, the procedure is quite 'leceh'. .
1. Write application essay of 150 words or less about why they should choose you and state the post you wanna apply for.
2. They will call you up over the weekend and you have to go for an interview.
3. Campaign.

So not my thing.
Anyway, can't wait for people to start campaigning. Wanna see how is it.
According to the student helpers on orientation, those campaigning peoples will put up posters of their own faces everywhere in the college. Sounds like election(sort of).
And they will bribe you with foods and stuffs like that so that you vote for them.
I think, the person sure needs lots of money to do these.

The physics lecturer has been MC for 2 days.
And I always don't know where to sit during Bio class. For other classes I sit with Su Li but she didn't take Bio.

Mr. M

The ex-prime minister, Tun Dr Mahathir Mohammad came to Taylor's UC today to give a talk on "Global Peace".
Those who gave their names to attend the talk have to dress up so formally.
It was 10am when I came out from Lecture Theatre 2(LT2) after Moral studies(LAN) and saw a long line of formal-dressed students in front of me.
The live talk was supposed to be in LT1 and LT 2 is the place for live telecast.
Few polices are there.
The talk was scheduled at 10.30am so I thought I couldn't see Mr M.
After my Bio class at 10.55am, I proceed to my Chem class.
I was standing at the middle landing of the stairs between the 2nd and 3rd floor and looking down.
Me and a few classmates was trying to look out for Mr M.
The polices downstairs told the students to move aside and clear a path in the middle.
Then I saw a police on motorbike turn into the gate followed by 3 cars and was telling my classmate, "Ohh, he is here." And they started looking.
Mr M was in the backseat of the 1st black car.
Once he get down, the students downstairs, on all the stairs and in all the corridors started cheering and clapping hands. lolz
I actually get to see him in person. haha So, he is in a grey suit.
After we could see him no more, we quickly get to our Chem class and was a few minutes late.
The class was less than half-filled.
The teacher can be understanding at times like this because she know we are excited.
You don't get to see the ex-PM everyday or anywhere.

Took the KTM home with Min Yee.
Have to walk so far.
Actually, the distance is not the problem. The problem is the roads that we have to cross.
Cars are coming from different directions and very fast. Hate crossing roads.
When we get to the station, saw my classmate who is going the opposite way from us.
We get down at KL Sentral and get on another train.
Almost couldn't get in because there were so many people. Me and Min Yee even tried 2 different doors.
At the back there is still a tiny place so Min Yee get in followed by me.
Once I hopped in the door started closing. Luckily manage to get in before it close.

P.S. I always tend to forget that Mr. M is not the PM anymore. haha

Sleeping powder

These few days I'm feeling very sleepy.
Maybe b'cos I have to wake up early every morning.
I can even go to sleep before 10.30 pm.
And it is only the 3rd day.
Today the Physics teacher let us off half an hour earlier so I went to the Mac Centre across the street, which sells stationery and stuffs.
They did a good job with the perfect binding. Never heard of it before this.
The books which is actually photostated looks so real and no big difference from the original book from outlook.
Maybe I could just get my Maths book with perfect binding. Hope the teacher won't notice. Cheaper that way.

There is a Malay girl who joined the class today.
But since Melissa dropped Econs and took Psychology, she changed to MK's class.

Took 2 hours nap when I got home. But I'm still as sleepy as yesterday.
I guess I will still sleep early today.
Luckily the weekend is here.

I think my brain got rusty during the 1 month at home. Can't seems to remember many facts.

Time to study

Today is the orientation for Taylor's-UC A Levels programme.
MK and I were one of those who arrived so early to avoid the traffic jam and no parking issues.
The orientation was at 9am but we arrived before 8am.
So, we went to eat breakfast before heading to the multi purpose hall.
There were so many people. The whole hall was filled. There were altogether 19 classes for the Jan intake A levels.
My class would be 0901PM9. Although MK is in PM8, people will think it is only a number difference. But none of the subjects' time is the same. And MK class has a korean girl. lolz
We will have fun running around searching for the next class to attend.
Suddenly it will be in the new block, old block or lecture theatre.

After the break we went into classes. The class mentor distributed the student ID.
There is 29 or 30 peoples in my class. I know roughly everyone's names except 3.
The 3 student helpers => Joycelin, Michelle and Nelson came and played 2 games with us and bring us for the campus tour.
The 1st game is like we have to repeat everyone's name from the 1st til ourselves. My turn was kinda late so, that's how I know everyone's name except some of those after me. lolz
Because, when it comes to my turn, Joycelin say it is running out of time and she will just randomly picked 2 person and I just have to name.
2nd game is we have to pair up with another person and it is a teamwork game to stand up. Me and my partner managed to stand at the 3rd try. lolz

There will be classes from Monday to Friday.
Now I know why the counselling guy say most of the people who went for counselling are from A levels. Physics at 8am for 3 consecutive days.
Everyday, 1st class begins at 8/9am and last class ends at 3/4pm.
Monday and Wednesday have classes for all 6 subjects.
Everyone will go 'cuckoo' =D
To avoid complications/confusions, this is what I did to the timetable.

Min Yee went and register for TBF today.
So, more and more peoples are joining Taylor's. lolz

P.S: June looks good in business wear =P

Addiction

Since I can't download any songs or videos, I got myself addicted to soompi-dbsk thread again.
Watching those new and old videos. Basically enjoying the last few days of free time.
Seriously hope that they found sponsor and managed to have Tvxq concert in M'sia too.
The internet connection sucks. Can't download anything.

I used to like the 1st day of school.
Going back to the same place after 2 months holiday.
Meeting the same people and some new ones.
So, today morning I woke up early and followed my parents who fetched my bro to school. lol
But I just sat in the car.

7th will be the orientation day.
I went and register last Friday.
Looks like lots of people are just like me who register days before the intake.

HAPPY NEW YEAR~!!

So soon it is already the beginning of another year.
A new year, a new beginning.
Hope this year will be a better one.

Yesterday, the FRIENDS wanna exchange gifts but I not yet prepare.
So, MK, June, Bea and I went to Mid Valley at about 3pm for present-hunting. June already bought but she just followed.
Went and eat in Kim Gary since MK is always hungry.
So many to buy and nothing is cheap. So, in the end spent about RM170 on the gifts.

By the time we reached Swee Pheng's house, it is already after 7.
Swee Pheng's Penang friends and her cousin sis are also there.
We put the gifts in its paper bag or box.
Then prepare for the BBQ.
All the smoke makes my hair smell of smoke.
Kelly and Jimmie came later.
After more than 2 hours of BBQ then we went into the k room to exchange presents.
The present opening part is fun.

After 11 only we went to langat hill. Kinda late.
So, we parked very very far away without knowing and ran up the hill.
Long long distance. And those people sitting in the car were looking.
And finally we reached. Lots of sweats. And legs were very tired. haha. Of course will feel happy once see the whole view of KL.
We missed the countdown but there are still fireworks in KL to see.
Some ex-surians are there too.
Later we have to walk back down to where the car is. Which seems even further.
And MK's car was gonna run out of oil. Luckily it didn't.
I think Swee Pheng's Penang friends will never forget this new year. lolz
I'm the 1st to be sent home because my parents keep calling before.
They have no idea I went to langat hill so don't let them know.
Reached home at 1 and went to sleep at 2.

Today is a sleepy day. Woke up early for breakfast.
And the flu attack me on new year day. How lucky =.="
