CARSON IN THE SPOTLIGHT

We are having so much fun with our cute little boy! He turned 6 months today one of those first milestones! :) He is rolling over, sitting up, laughing, smiling, talking, (baby language obviously), and the center of our world. He gets so excited to see his big sisters you can tell how much he loves them the second they walk in the room. They love him also they are all so cute together! I am so glad I have the girls to help me out when I need to do the dishes, switch out laundry, or do my hair! (he he) I ask them to go play with Carson and talk to him and they are all happy! And I have to say Derek is very proud of his boy! I also bought him an exersaucer so we hope he gets some use out of it. Derek doesn't think babies like them at all, but it will give me 10 minutes here and there maybe! We don't have his well-baby check up until August 18th, but I am sure he is growing way too fast! He is wearing size 4 diapers so I know he is over 20 lbs, and probably 30 inches long! He is so kissable and totally squeezable! The best! We love you Carson!

FUN SUMMER DAYS

The girls are having so much fun this summer! They have been having fun in the yard, with friends, at Seven Peaks, we went to Park City for Dance Attack this last week, but of course we always forgot the camera and then the day we remembered it lost it in the hotel somewhere and the front desk didn't have it until it was over. Oh well, summer is going to end before we know it! Aubrey will be starting 1st grade! AHHHH! I don't know if I am ready for her to be gone all day! At least she won't be bored wondering which friend can come over next! :) The house will be too quiet without her here, but we will be excited for her to come home from school each day!

FAMILY REUNION

It was my mom and dad's turn to be in charge of the family reunion this year! My mom and I decided a pirate party would be fun! The kids loved the treasure hunt! They got water guns and fishing poles and they even got to catch some fish from the fishing pond, they had candy and pop, and even a buried treasure. We had a BBQ with lots of yummy food! There were over 50 people, we had a great turn out! All of my dad's brothers and sisters and their families came except for Uncle Boyd who couldn't make it. My Aunt Ellen even came to visit so she made her famous brownies and came along too! Everyone loves the summer for reunion time! So much fun to see all of the cousins, Aunts, and Uncles, and of course Grandma and Grandpa Andrus! Arrghh Mateys!

Saying Goodbye to Aunt Shannon and MaryJane

It was midnight and we had already left Derek's mom's, but I forgot that Carson hadn't had a picture taken with his Aunt Shannon, so we turned around and went back to get a picture and then we all jumped in. It was sad to see them go and we miss them lots.

We had so much fun at Derek's mom's doing fireworks with our cousin MaryJane who came to visit from Mississippi! We miss her and her mom (Aunt Shannon)! It was so fun to see them for 2 whole weeks! We hiked to the Timpanogos Caves, went to the Scera Pool, went to see Kung Fu Panda, and had some sleepovers! It was so much fun!

Carson's Baby Blessing and Pictures at Kiddie Kandids

Aubrey is 5, Kimberly is 3 and Carson was one day shy of 5 months when we took them to Kiddie Kandids for their pictures! They are the cutest kids! We can't believe how fast they are growing up! So I decided to add some pictures of Carson's baby blessing since it was the very next day Sunday June 29, 2008. He is such a sweet baby and always full of smiles! We love him so much! We love our girls too! It was a good afternoon! I made pastrami chicken, wild rice, my mom made one of her famous pasta salads, Vicki made some rolls, I also ordered eclairs with blue baby booties on them from the Lehi bakery, we had lots of yummy fruit, and I wish I had a picture of how great the food looked right when it was ready, but I don't...well at least I have the memory and the menu. :) Well we are awaiting the next milestone of 6 months for Carson...to see how much he has grown, he is giving my biceps a workout! He is now rolling over and he is sitting up on his own and has been since about the day he turned 5 months! No teeth yet, but my kids usually have only 2 by their first birthday! We can hardly wait for those first cute words...mama and dada!
