Summer Pics

 I was sent to Orlando this summer for a School Conference...RRR for all my BHE friends! Sherry and I had a great time. We made sure that we were able to get to the parks. Here are a few pics.

Shannon, Ross, Shaun and I went camping in the Smoky Mountains this summer. We camped at a different sight every night so we could see different parts of the park. We also found trails to hike on each day. Here are a few pics.

We spent the day in New Orleans before we left for our camping trip. The Insectarium a river boat cruise and Bourbon Street.

Journey

Some of the teachers from my school got together and went to the Journey concert in New Orleans. We got a hotel so that we could go out on Bourbon. Here are a few pics. A few of us dressed 80's for the concert.

4th of July

How about Christmas in July....well the other way around . I'm posting July pics at Christmas time. During the 4th of July we went to Estes Park, Colorado with Shannon and family. We were able to take a ghost tour of the Stanley Hotel, the hotel Steven King stayed in when he got his ideas for The Shining.

We also did some hiking. One day Shannon, Ross, Shaun and I went on a 10 mile hike. Tiring but awesome.

We stopped for lunch and these birds came to try and get crumbs.

On another day we took a much smaller flatter hike with the kids.

Kayden found himself a worm, that ended up going with us to the car. However I don't believe it was alive.

We saw this sign as we took a drive one day to the highest paved road in the U.S.
