Thanksgiving

We had a lovely, low key Thanksgiving with our next door neighbors Fred and Amy and their twins. They've been our neighbors for five years and we've developed a really special friendship with them. The food was delicious, the conversation thoughtful and the company  delightful!! 

Thankful for this little guy....that's for sure!

Halloween!!!

Atticus dressed up as a Viking this year. He loves the series How to Train Your Dragon about a Viking family and their pet dragons.... this was perfect!

We went to the Harvest Festival that our church sponsored and Atticus had a blast playing all the games, jumping in the bounce houses and at the petting zoo...

 

I got to hold a cute little four month old pig named Pearly Sue that wanted to come home with me....Aaron said no.

He had so much fun....wore himself out!

After a little nap, we geared up to go Trick-or-Treating in our neighborhood with friends! Atticus and Isaac thought it was awesome to ring the doorbell of their kindergarten teacher :)  She thought it was pretty cool too....she knew we were coming and had a special treat for the boys!

Fall Happennings

YAY!!!  Poppa came to visit for a few days on his way to NC for the furniture market!!

 

Got to go on my first field trip with the kiddos in my class from St. James! Fun day for both the teachers and the kids at the Denver Downs Pumpkin Patch!

 

Trees are turning colors and leaves are falling to the ground...this sweet boy isn't wasting any time playing in the fresh fallen leaves!

This is standing at the top of our dirveway - I thought the colors of the sky were beautiful!!

Time to carve the pumpkin!!!  Aaron scooped out all the guts and Atticus separated and counted all the seeds.... 473 to be exact!

The Furman campus is beautiful right now...we've taken a few walks enjoying all the colors of fall.

Fall means football season!!!!
