Romney turned 1!

On June 14 my baby turned 1! He is growing up too fast! He is probably my calmest and easiest baby. He loves for me to hold him and just lays his head on my shoulder! He never cries when I lay him down for his naps and for bed. He is so easy going and never really cries. He has the sweetest smile and is such a blessing in our home. His brother and sisters adore him and love to make him laugh. Happy Birthday Romers!

Hollywood Kids

Bailey and Payton take lessons at Hollywood Kids and love it! This semester they put on the whole musical of 'Beauty and the Beast'. They did an incredible job! Bailey was one of the silly girls which fit her perfectly, and Payton was a narrator and did an amazing job. They were both in all of the songs and dance numbers too. It is so fun to watch their talents grow!

Memorial Day

On Memorial Day we made cards for my grandpa Barry, aunt Holly, and cousin Ben. They were all such incredible people! We miss you and love you and know you are doing a great work on the other side!

Sewing

Bailey decided she wanted to learn how to sew. She wanted to start by making Payton a shirt and skirt! (Since I don't sew it was pretty interesting) We cut up old baby blankets, measured Payton and started sewing. Bailey sewed it all by herself and did an amazing job! She even put buttons to hold the skirt on. Payton wore her new outfit everywhere the next 2 days!

Birthday Girl

Last Day of School

On the last day of school both girls got awards in class. They both got a straight 'A' award and they both got an award for being great artists and so creative! It was amazing that they both got the same awards! Bailey and Payton are very different but very similar at the same time.


Bailey's teacher told all the students and parents what wonderful examples Bailey and her 3 best friends were. She said at the beginning of the year all the kids would come tell her if someone wouldn't play what they wanted or come whine about anything. Her teacher told them to go work it out. Pretty quickly Bailey and her friends came up with a plan to let each of the 4 of them have 1 day a week where they could choose what to play and they would all play it without complaining. They did this all year. Bailey would come home everyday and tell me whose day it was and what they choose and if she liked it or not she played. Her teacher told her it was a great life long tool she had learned.

Drive-in Movie Theatre

For Payton's birthday she wanted to go to the drive-in. So we went on her birthday which was a school night to the opening night of Schrek. It was so fun to see how excited they were to see the big screens outside, eat pizza and popcorn in the car, and stay up late.
