I noticed a sweet, yet not so subtle, post on my Facebook page the other day from an audacious sister-in-law who told me that I should start blogging again. At first I was totally offended. But then I got to thinking about all the cool stuff that we have been doing and how everyone I know would love to hear about it! It was genius really...yes, I am a genius.
Well, over a year has flown by and everything has changed. We live in New York, the kids attend school, Spencer is in the Baker Program earning a masters in real estate at Cornell, and even the leaves on the trees are all different colors. It's getting cold outside, (and in), and everyone around us speaks English!
So, without further ado...the picture posting shall BEGIN!! (Hopefully I can keep it up right??)
Lexi wants a horse. This is downtown by the library and she loves it.

This is driving. I could explain where it is, but let's just say it's beauuuutiful!

that is Cayuga lake of the finger lakes. )
It is all such beautiful rolling hills, covered in forest.
The kids have quite taken to doing chores!
We have a sticker chart and when its full the earn a dollar.
Stocking up on poofy, warm stuff for the cold!
There are sooo many parks around. This ones name is Stewart Park.
It is down at the bottom of Cayuga Lake I mentioned in the driving picture.

And here is Cayuga Lake. The driving picture was taken from the highway you can just
make out coming down the hill above the white buildings in
the background. (hmmm..can u see it?)
So peaceful here...like we're the only people in the world...

It's been fun having a backyard!! We do miss the 3 pools, playground, soccer field,
and amenities, but there is just something SOOOOOooo fun
about walking out the door into your own backyard.

Lexi talks about Panama all the time. When she is sad she will sometimes ask for Doris.
So we took this picture and posted it on Doris's Facebook page.
She was very excited to send her a "hug."

We met them in the ward and became instant pals.
The weather is changing and the cold is setting in!
But we still love the backyard, even when it's raining!
Preston takes his job as a big brother very seriously. Enough said..
