I was just browsing through some old photos from early 2010 when I came across these gems. They certainly deserve to be included in the annals of the History of the Spencers, if anything does. Not surprising that things have not changed much in the last 2 years....

Somehow we managed a family photo on Christmas day...

New Christmas sweaters, a Japanese tradition! (Not really, but we did buy them off base becuase selection on base was lacking!) Christmas is decorated for and celebrated in Japan, but (like many times in America) are usually lacking Jesus. The Japanese Christian Churches, however, are making great efforts to make the true meaning of Christmas known.

Reading the Advent Book. A Spencer family family tradition. By Christmas day, the boys had most of it memorized already. Josiah read most of the book on his own.

Fun at the Kumamoto Zoo!

Levi's hospital had its fun family moments too. All 3 boys liked to be up in the bed at the same time when Josiah and Corban came to visit. The room itself wasn't much larger than the bed!
