Sabrina is in Seattle visiting her cousins and I miss her tremendously. We spent the day before she left getting her ready and switching the kids rooms. So the plan is while she is gone I will finish her room and surprise her with it when she returns. But I have no idea when I am going to find the time. I spend the whole day chasing after the other 2, coloring reading, playing tag, kissing booboos, and generally just squeezing them in bear hugs all day! I love how my kids smell! And I love to kiss their cheeks! All 3 of them. Very kissable cheeks.
Today Sabrina got to go into town to a posh salon and get her hair cut. She wanted to donate her hair to Locks of Love. So she grew it out so that she had at least 12 inches to donate and they cut it and styled it for free! She was so excited. I took a before picture before she left. So when she gets back I will post the before and after.

So today Steve had an early day and we took the kids to the lake. It was overcast outside, so not too hot. Since it was SO nice, even breezy, we didn't think about sun block. MISTAKE! I am completely red, like a lobster! Jackson got a little sunburn on his back...same with Banna. Sabrina's thighs got it. And dad got red everywhere! I'll post some pics tomorrow. Hopefully after a good nights rest, everyone will look a whole lot better. These Davis kids tan pretty well.

So, the kids and I decided to give Amber a bath inthe kiddie pool in the backyard. Can we say, not the best idea? It may have been better to let someone else wash and cut her. However, now my reddish blonde chocolate lab, looks more chocolate than auburn. That is an amazing thing. Meanwhile the kids got soaking wet, and the neighbor boy (Kevin) stood back laughing his head off. Who can blame him? I'm sure we were a sight.

So, Sabrina had an orthodontist appointment today. Her mouth had already started narrowing again. Her retainer was cutting into her gums, so I told her she could quit wearing it till we got it fixed. Then it was Christmas, so we finally just got in, and Dr N was really stern with her about wearing it. She has such a beautiful smile, I really want her teeth to be fixed and straight. Meanwhile, Savanna is still sucking her thumb...we're working on that. Its starting to come along. We keep trying to bribe her with a kitty, she wants one, but not enough to give up the thumb. And it doesn't help that Jackson sucks his too. We'll see, wish us good luck!

So I've decided that although I have no idea how to make this work, I am going to really put forth a valiant effort! LOL. I need to just call JoAnna and ask for her help. Anywho....so it's December already and we've already had snow! 8 inches!!! Can you believe it? I almost can't. Our girls had tons of fun playing in it all day long. It never stopped snowing. Most snow we've ever had here...at least in my lifetime. We're hoping for a white Christmas now. We'll see. Hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas!!
