Hutan Lipur Sungai Sedim atau sering dipanggil sebagai Lata Sedim kini dikenali sebagai Taman Eko Rimba Sungai Sedim . Oleh itu kedua-dua nama ini adalah tempat yang sama . Rebranding kata omputeh 

Bagaimana nak mai sini. ?

Hutan Lipur Sungai Sedim terletak dalam Hutan Simpan Kekal Gunung Inas di kaki Gunung Bintang. 

Untuk datang ke sini dari arah selatan , sebaiknya terus ke Bandar Kulim ( BAS ) . Melalui keretapi , sebaiknya turun di Bukit Mertajam berbanding Sungai Petani . Jaraknya lebih dekat. Melalui PLUS highway dari arah selatan .. boleh sahaja exit dimana-mana susur keluar bermula dari Kuala Kangsar , Changkat jering , Taiping , bukit Merah , Selama&alor pongsu , bandar bahru ..atau lajak terus ke Jawi , Seberang Perai dan option akhir melalui Highway BKE di seberang jaya.

But those coming from highway – PLUS highway .

1.  from south please do not exit Bandar Bahru& Parit Buntar ( USING WAZE/GPS) . If you do , this road will lead you into rural are. you might get boring and worrying .However you still get here .
2. From north, please do not exit sungai petani ( USING WAZE/ GPS) .

Either south or north .. please use Exit as follow :

Exit 163 –GERIK ,KULIM

Public Transport to Sungai Sedim

From Klang Valley.

Best way is by Express Bus .

I totally recommend PLUSLINER and MARA liner.For Plusliner catch up the bus at Stesen Keretapi Kuala Lumpur (old ktm station) and the bus is directly heading to Kulim while Mara liner at Bukit Jalil. The fare is about RM33.50/adult RM25/kid.(plusliner) RM31.20/ adult RM23.00 /kid (mara liner) 5 hours journey.

Or, you can find others company as well- Betong, S.E, Era mesra , Cepat Etc however for this time being, embarks at Bukit Jalil. might be more than 5hours.i tried before, 9 hours was taken to get to Kulim. The fare... likely Plusliner but without kid's price. Not really recommended.

By Train.

From KL sentral to Bukit Mertajam or Butterworth. either one.

10 hours trip.

By Air

Touch down at Bayan Lepas air port, Penang.

FROM KULIM

The only public to reach Kampung Sedim is by taxi/ cab . You can get it at bus station. The Fare RM30 per trip( not per passenger) is reasonable as Sungai Sedim is 30km far away from the station. No bus available to Sedim.

Only 30 minutes to my place (Sungai Sedim)
