I have been very bad about updating this. But think of all you have to look at now. We tried the private thing and it didn't work, too many people were totally blocked. So instead just clicked off the search engine availability. We've had a lot going on. I hope you enjoy this glimpse into our lives. I promise to try and keep this updated more often. 5th grade promotion
5th grade promotion day
Caden earned the Presidential Fitness Award, we are just calling it the United States Fitness Award.

Rhett's 14th
Rhett is 14!!! He wanted a GPS for geocaching, his new hobby. He also had to work at a scout fundraiser the same day. He wasn't too excited to have to do something he didn't want to on his birthday. We told him, welcome to life. :)
Mormon Prom
Our stake here does a Mormon Prom. There is a dinner and a dance at beautiful home here. It's for the Priests and Laurels and is totally FREE!!!!
Makenna and Shawn Chidister

My Mom, Allison, Kai and Reese came for a visit in March and picked up something along the way. This is Natalee, Makennan's BFFL, best friend for life. My Mom picked her up in Utah and brought her down without Makenna knowing. It was a great surprise.
Caden's 11
Since we were moving last year on his birthday, he got to have a small party. Just a few friends and cousins, pizza and video games.

The kids were taking pictures for a gift for Grandma Jill. Obviously we didn't use this one.
The boys told Makenna this sign wasn't for her. She was sad.
But then she was happy.
They do like each other, some times.

The TRUMPET
Caden did band this year. He wanted to play the trumpet and we had one. Dean also played trumpet in high school and still had his. He wants to continue in junior high.
Wild Animal Park
Rhett had a field trip with CAVA to the Animal Park. We brought Carsen with us, Krista and Scott's youngest.
Rhett loved these guys. They were so calm. But they did stink, so we aren't having one around the house anytime soon.
Maybe one day it will be the same size.
Saying good-bye is never easy
Dean's mother, JOYCE ELLEN SMITH, passed away November 19, 2010. She was an amazing mother of 10 and an amazing mother-in-law. Even with her rheumatoid arthritis she continued to serve our Heavenly Father faithfully. Her life was dedicated to her family and all who knew her were better for it.

USMC Mountain Warfare Training
Dean spent a month in the High Sierra's with the Marines. Although it was July, it was cold.

And look closely, this is his roommate. He didn't like him much.

Dean turns 40
Dean hit a milestone birthday in October, so did I in June, but we don't talk about that.
We went to Disney without the kids. Our first date was at Disney 18 years ago.
We love all the decorations for the holidays. Nothing like Disney for a holiday.
