Aiden Turned 3!!!

So my baby had another birthday....
and somehow she is 3 now!!!
We let her choose what we did all day!
She opened a few presents...
we flew a kite...went to lunch...
played mini-golf...fed fish at Cabelas...
it was so much fun!
And she was exhausted by the end!!

I loved it!





And I think Rilyn's costume is hilarious!
I know my kids will hate me...but I think it is CUTE!

Rilyn Violet Batty

Rilyn was born on Monday August 16.
Things went really well.
She was 7 lbs 4 oz and 18 1/2 in long
And she looks A LOT like her big sister!


















































Aiden was so excited to have her home...
she covered her with toys as soon as
we were in the house!

Getting Ready for Baby

So we are finally getting things ready for the baby!
Her room isn't going to be anything fancy...
but we have some stuff up in there.
If she came today I think we are ready!

I am not really crafty...so this is as good as it gets!
Hopefully I will finish her quilt soon too!

Aiden has been a big help getting things together!
She is very excited about all of the baby stuff!
It just tired her out the other day...
she fell asleep on the couch...which is a rare these days!

Staying Busy

There are still all sorts of projects
around here that are keeping us very busy!
Trying to get things ready for the baby...
I will post pics when her room is done...
it is getting close now!
And we are still trying to go out and do a few
fun things too...despite the heat!





















Aiden has been helping me with painting
some pics for the baby's room...they turned out pretty cute
but I am no professional!
But Aiden REALLY likes to paint!

We went to the Days of 47 Rodeo with Trenton's family too!
It was indoors...so not as hot...but VERY dusty!
Poor Trenton could hardly breath by the end!
But Aiden now wants to be a cowboy and ride bulls!
I use it to my advantage too!
I tell her she has too eat all of the food on her plate...
so she can grow big and strong...so she can ride the bulls!
It is working for now!
And she told me the other day that she needs
a pink cowboy hat now!




















We found Aiden a little slide to go in the toy room!
I was so excited about it!
I have been looking for one for months!
We found it at Kid to Kid for $14!
She loves it...plays with it everyday!



















Time sure is flying...and I am starting to panic
because everything isn't ready yet!
I have less than 3 weeks till I am scheduled to be induced.
She still doesn't even have a name!
Although we are getting closer there!
Again...I am sure it will all work out!
But I am sure this last couple of weeks will
over before I know it!

Aiden's 1st Trip to the Movies

So we have been trying to do some fun things
with just us & Aiden before the new baby comes.
So we decided to take her to the movies to see
Toy Story 3
The Toy Stories are her favorite...
and so I thought it would be a good one to take her to.
We had so much fun! She did so well!


















She took Woody & Bullseye (the horse) to see the movie too!
It was actually really cute!
Kind of sad...but there were some really funny parts!























It was really hot in there...
so after the movie we got a slush!

















And we got Aiden another Toy Story toy...
and gave it to her when we got home.
(we waited because he is in the 3rd movie)
He isn't a very nice guy...but very cute!
She loves him now...although she didn't want him at first!


























She is getting so big!
I know lots of people have more than 1 kid...
but I am starting to get really nervous about it!
I am sure it will all work out though!
And she will be a great big sister...

Naughty Chair

We have a chair in the living room that we use as our "naughty chair"
Aiden has to sit there when she is bad...
well I found her out there the other day...
and she told me that some of her babies had been naughy too
She makes me laugh! I love it!

Happy 4th Of July!!!

We had a great weekend!
We spent some time together...
saw some fireworks...ate some great food!
Although I didn't really get pics of any of that!
Trenton worked on Sunday...the actual 4th...
and the weather was heavenly...for me anyway!
It was in the high 60s until about 1-2ish
when the sun came out!
So we took full advantage...we went to the park
after church and then to visit Trenton at the station!



















































































at the station we hung out mostly in Trenton's room
and she found the cabinet under his bed...
that he keeps his bedding in...it was her cave!!!

















We of course couldn't leave without our
regular tour of the ambulance and fire engine!


















she just made herself right at home!



























































this is one of the stuffed animals that they keep
in the engine...and she is totally attached to it!
I hope they don't give it away soon...she will be heartbroken!
