Two weekends ago, Ashley and I decided to go down to the temple in D.C. It was awesome, as always. Driving two and a half hours each time really makes it so special. Afterward, we decided that we were going to check out the city of Baltimore because it was on the way home. We had been there before to watch an Orioles game last year, but this time we decided to check out downtown. It was really cool. Baltimore has a place called the inner harbor that is right on the water with a bunch of shopping, restaurants, and boats out in the water. Although it was like 10 degrees outside, we got all bundled up, walked around, and found a cool little seafood place right on the water. Baltimore is known for its crab legs, but apparently they were out of season in January so we got some shrimp and had a nice dinner. Then we went shopping at this huge mall right there. Even though I hate shopping, it was a lot of fun. Just thought I share our little date and some pictures.

Christmas 06
Christmas was great. We had so much fun in Arizona this year. Just look at the picture of the snack table. How could you not be happy with that? Mom and Dad, thank you so much for being so generous and making this Christmas an amazing one. It was one that we will never forget. Think of all the instant memories: Playing our Train Game, Golfing 4 or 5 times, pool ball in the freezing cold water (great throw Tyler), South Pacific at the Broadway Theatre, trip to Cafe Rio, Madi's Blessing, Green Chile Burros at Summer's parent's house, Dr. Mario matches, "Casey, What does a Pirate Say?", Canasta with Grandma and Janice, nerf gun competitions and wars (nice job hitting Tiff in the face, Trev), and who could forget the Greatest Christmas Morning Treasure Hunt of all time? Am I forgetting any (I did this really quickly)? We are sad to be so far away from everyone again and are missing you all. Does anyone know how to post videos? We have a ton of hilarious ones that I would love to put on here from Christmas. Keep scrolling down to see some more pictures and blogs. Love you guys.
The Champions!
After two years of fighting between each other and losing out to much stronger Gingerbread House creators, Ashley and I stepped up our game this year and came through with a victory. As you can see, the competition was tough (Tiff and Derrick even tried the old "suck up to the judges by getting pregnant with another Grandchild" trick) but we finally won.
