Ok, so I've been out of the blog-0-sphere for a while, and I am unlikely to return to normal posting anytime soon, but maybe this will make up for it...

Beautiful Albuquerque

I recently traveled to Albuquerque on a trip for work. I was thrilled by all of the New Mexican food--what could be better than chillies and guacamole as a side for every meal? And, I just loved this sunset.

Check out this fantastic piece! I was in heaven seeing all of the southwestern pottery--it definitely took me back to my days at BYU's Museum of Peoples and Cultures.

Blizzard: Round Two

This week I had a first. Twice. I've never been in a blizzard, and now I've survived two in one week! I stayed busy working most of the time, which was a nice break from the ever-so-solitary experience. There's only so long you can be stuck inside by yourself before you start to get a little socially awkward! (I am looking forward to wearing off some of that awkwardness soon...) I enjoyed this little snippet from NPR. I also liked the Washington Post's photo essay of the second blizzard.
