First day of School 2011!

The kids were excited about thier first day of School!'

They woke up at 6 am to get ready,

Way to early if you ask me.

Brenden has the funniest shirt,

it's actually a scratch and sniff. It

smells like pizza and a coke..LOL

Clayton is in the 7th grade this year, and

Mackay is in the 8th!

We decided to take the kids to Lagoon before school started.
I've been so busy working, it's been hard for our family to
do anything this summer. So this was a great day! The
kids had an absolute blast. Erin and the boys were off
riding all the bigger rides, while I hung out with Alaina,
and Cindy and her kids. We had a great time! Mackay
didn't want to go to Lagoon so he stayed home with Grandma
and Grandpa VanDyke.

 Clayton passed off level 4 and is doing very well!

They say he's a natural swimmer,

he went to level 4 in 3 weeks of lessons. He loved every

minute of it. They said next year to start off level

4 as a refresher and then they'll move him to level 5!

So proud of this boy!

Brenden passed off level 2 and he did such a great job!

He had a blast and did so well, I'm so proud of him.

He'll start on level 3 next year.

This was one of her biggest fears, she doesn't like

her face in the water!

 Alaina has a fear of water, so these swimming

lessons were hard for her. My whole goal with her

and swimming lessons were to help reduce some of

her fear of water. She didn't pass off level 1 yet, but

I'm so proud of her for trying even though

it was really scarey for her!

Brenden~Pinewood Derby!

On Tuesday night it was the pinewood derby!

Brenden made a frog car, it had a windshield with

a plastic frog in the drivers seat. Brenden didn't take

any places, but he got the award for the most

Futuristic and I think he had fun and that's all that counts!
