Summer has come! We are so excited to have the sun shining and for the nice warm weather! We have been able to get out and enjoy it quite a bit! It's so much better here when the sun decides to make an appearance. This week was in the 90's a few days. Addy and I ventured out to the Lake Oswego Splash Pad with our good friends Marissa, Spencer, and baby Nellie! Addy absolutely loved it! Spencer, however, wasn't too sure. He would just stand there and watch it and then repeated "I don't like 'dis! I don't like 'dis!" It was cute. Spencer enjoyed looking at the ducks and the lake that was not far enough away. Once Addy realized there were stairs that led right into the lake it was over... forget the fountain, she wanted to go for a swim in the lake! We had a blast playing in the hot sun and then getting UU yougurt afterwards!
In Other News:
Addy is talking more and more! She is miss independent! It is sometimes quite a challenge because she wants to do everything by herself even though she doesn't know how yet. When she wants something she will let you know and if she doesn't get it she will let you know even more! I think her absolute favorite thing is eating. It seems that she gets the most excited over food!
A few words that she has added to her vocabulary lately are: bubbles, buh bye, yeah, baaaa (when you ask her what a sheep says!), and still tons of jibber jabber that is so important! She is so fun and getting quite the personality! I'm afriad she's going to be a bit of a drama queen...
