Family of 9....Todd, Kara, and Ty move in!

Kara, Todd, and Ty move in! My brother is starting a concrete coating business (Advanced Concrete Coatings, Inc.) and so we decided to help them out a little by letting them move in with us for a couple of months to get their feet on the ground. So far, so good. The kids all love Ty and Kara is a huge help! Todd is so much fun with all the boys and so we are all getting along just fine. I hope they're handling the crazy life of the Fackrells OK. My boys are off track so it's a pretty crazy household right now.

Twin Day

It was "Twin Day" at Orange Elementary today and boy were my boys excited! They were excited because they could be a twin with someone else besides their brother! It was so cute to see how excited they all were to be twins together! The boys look nothing alike, but they thought they did, so that's all that matters!

Angels date night with my boys!

My boys are OBSESSED with the Angels! If I would let them they would watch every game from the 1st inning to the 9th! They LOVE baseball. Every morning I come down to find them watching "The Final Score" to see all of the previous nights game highlights. It's so funny. They know all the lingo and even watch documentaries on baseball players in their spare time. It cracks me up!
Anyways, so Jake usually takes them to the game, but I took them last night and had a ball! It was a bummer that we lost, because we killed the Yankees the night before, but we filled our disappointment with peanuts, frozen lemonade, and an ice cream sandwich (big enough for all of us to share). It was so much fun! I love my boys and I love watching them be so into something.

My boys are pretty good baseball players themselves. They can't wait for Spring ball again. We can't play winter ball in our league because all the games are on Sunday. The boys are pretty good about it, but I know they wish they could play. I am proud of them for understanding about keeping the sabbath day holy. They love to choose the right, but sometimes it's REAL hard! Love you guys! Thanks for the fun date night!

Group Date Night

We had a fun group date night on Saturday. Monica Sandberg organized it all for us. Thanks Monica! We went out to eat at The Counter and then to my house for games and swimming. We didn't end up playing many games, but we did in the pool. The hot tub felt nice afterwards, especially with a little mudd pie to go with it! (Thanks Melinda S.) It was a great time. We are so blessed to have so many fun friends here. We could've had twice as many people there that night and still not have invited all of the awesome people here in Corona, CA. Awesome wards here full of fun people!

All the guys hanging out in the hot tub (or as Jake calls it, the "think tank"). Look at them all try to flex their muscles, but look natural at the same time! Guys are so funny! (Todd is in the picture too. I forgot to get a shot of him because his wife wasn't here. She and Todd and their baby Ty are moving in with us next week. It should be lots of fun!

A day at Newport Beach- 58th St.

Apparently 58th street in Newport Beach is the place to be. It's great waves, hardly any people, and pretty good parking! The Christiansens shared their secret spot with us. They go there every Friday. Her husband Jeff has gone there since he was a baby every Friday with his Mom & her friends. What a great tradition. Since he is a school teacher, he takes his wife and kids there every Friday too because he is off in the summer. It was a blast! I wish Jake could have been there, but Jeff played with all the kids and they had a great time!

Thanks Jeff & Kacie for the great day! Kacie only has two weeks left until the baby comes! She is on boy #4 just like me! We have six families in our ward with four boys. How random is that? And 8 families with all boys. One of them has 8 boys alone. I can't even imagine! You go Paula!


What more could a bunch of boys want? Dirt & Water and you can play in it all day long without getting in trouble! Thank goodness for good vaccuums for the car and showers at home!

The boys loved climbing on the jetty and looking down in the cracks at the crabs. It is very interesting and kind of creepy at the same time.Lawson really wanted the camera! He is obsessed with cameras and cell phones. The kid loves buttons.

Maggie liked the sand a little too much. She is giving herself a colon cleanse I believe! Yuck!

This was a great day at the beach. Nice and about 80 degrees. Overcast until about 1 o'clock. I couldn't have asked for a better day (Well, maybe if I could've read a book or taken a nap, that might have been the perfect day. For now I am trying to enjoy the boys while they're little because someday I will be able to take a nap and read a book and I will wish that they were all little again!)

Ward Beach Party

The El Cerrito Ward beach party was a blast this year. They had tons of people come and it was a great time. Now that I am a little more experienced with the beach party scene, I don't get so freaked out by boiling your corn with the ocean water. I really didn't believe them the first year that they used the ocean water. I kind of felt like the dumb blonde from Utah because that just didn't seem right. After years of having it though, it is amazing! The salt from the ocean gives it just the right flavor and it is always delicious! Good old hot dogs & smores topped the night off just right! I probably ate one too many brownies too, but it was a fabulous night!

Me & my buddy Luke! He loves his Mom. We hang out all the time together. He helps me clean, take care of Lawson, and he especially loves to cook with me. He is my good helper. It's really cute when he gets on his apron that Grandma Sandy sent him. He is so much fun!
Christy & Jen (Jen kept everyone laughing the whole night. She has to be one of the funniest people I know. She was making the best of cutting watermelon with no cutting board (I don't know how sanitary that was just right on the table, but no one got sick so apparently it is OK), no utensils to eat the salad with, and too much corn! The men obviously planned it, but because her hubby was in charge, she took over and made the best of it!

All in all, it was an awesome ward beach party. We love our ward. We are so lucky to have so many friends here. We are very blessed!

Citrus Park Water Day!

We finally have a little water park here in Corona! We couldn't be more excited. It's the perfect place to cool off and get the little ones out of the house for free!! Logan and Landon were at school while I took Lawson and Luke there. We had a blast! Of course Luke had to climb to the top of the orange. It's at the Citrus Park. Go figure...


Annie Warner was staying with us for the weekend while her Dad took Maggie to Provo, UT. We had a blast having a girl around our house. Her room was always picked up and it always smelt of yummy perfume. It kind of made me think twice about a girl. I did stop myself though and decided that I would just enjoy the YW in the ward! She and her two girlfriends (Madison & Heidi) stayed the night and came with us to the park. They were so much fun and I loved to hear them giggle and laugh so much. Girl's are so fun!
Lawson really enjoyed the little water spouts. He's not too adventurous, so he liked to stay by the small water spouts!
