You're my favorite month, just so you know. One reason, you know just how I like the weather. Somewhere in the 70's... not to hot, not to cold. You also seem to know just how much I hate the wind. So you keep it to a slight breeze. You also let me dance a lot. 41/2 hours a day for 4 days a week to be precise. That is like my heaven on earth. You also bring the promising adventure of my favorite vacation spot. Lake Powell. I think I love that place more than dancing. It's always at least 90 degrees when we go, but that's not too hot because it's a lake. If we get to hot we just run up the stairs and jump off of the top of the house boat. I wasn't kidding when I said Lake Powell is an adventure, I think my father's mind goes a little crazy when he gets behind the wheel of the boat. When he's pulling me on a tube I hold on like my life depended on it because in all honesty, it kind of does. When my dad is even sitting in a boat it's like it gives him joy to see us cry. I guess it's probably not the crying but the crashes that come before it. If we cry, that means we just caught some serious air and probably slammed into anything within 5 feet of us. We hit the water REALLY hard in particular. In Lake Powell bathing is the best thing that ever happened to anybody too. It's like you have the biggest bathtub in the world, no joke. There are also various bathing techniques. You can suds up then go down the slide to rinse off. If you're a little more daring, go ahead, jump off the top of the houseboat. If you're even more daring, go find a nice cliff and jump off of that. Those are only a few of our varied techniques. My attraction to Lake Powell probably comes from the fact that I love water. I love it a lot. If I'm submerged in water, I'm more happy than anyone in the world. So June, I love you. Thanks for being just the way you are, because July is lame.
Love, Maddie Jones
p.s. I have to give some credit to August too because I dance again, the first of school isn't too bad, AND I go to Lake Powell again. (Half of the following pictures are from our trip in August...)
mani's and pedi's are usually a hit
generator=movies... woot woot!
apparently Joel likes a little on top rather than nothing
ohhh goodness! father didn't see this crash (he was driving the other boat) but it was partially his fault. So I guess he didn't laugh but brian did. He liked the story when he heard it though and Tracy gave me the nickname Rocky.
If they don't feel like getting in the lake Aunt Marilyn brings a backup blowup pool.
