Kids....Warm my Heart and Brighten My soul!

Where do I start!!?? Anchor is at an age where he has a million questions and wants answers! I love it because they are all GREAT questions. Like this morning we had the missionaries over for breakfast and Anchor leans over to me and asks "Mom does Heavenly Father have a Brother?" WHOA...that is a good question! I replied "Maybe...that's a good question to ask him someday."
And if you were not aware of his Christmas list it contains things such as
1. an Elf (one of Santa's because they have magic)
2. Snuggie (those blanket things you see on TV)
3. Red Pen
4. Guinea Pig
5. File Cabinet
6. Flash lite
7. Drill
8. Quad
There are many more (like toys)....those just stood out to me as Special!
We are taking the kids to see Santa on Monday and Anchor also is going to ask Santa how can visit every house in the world in one night, How he got his magic, When was he born, how old are you and will you Santa live forever? Don't worry I am taking along my Camcorder. To add to his oh so cuteness...his two top teeth came out within a week of each other and he looks so darn adorable!!! I will post pics soon! OK...I will be editing this post and adding some stuff later today about Race & Kingsley...Enjoy as I do!!

Happy Halloween

So we made our annual trip to Gilbert AZ to trick or treat at the Gateway Gardens neighborhood with my sister Michelle and her family. As usual we had a blast....but I am HAPPY Halloween is over! Can't wait for Christmas!

Fall with our new Family Member "Spooky"

This is Anchor's Kitten....However...I love her...errr..him! He..Anchor wants it to be a girl soooo bad so that it can have more babies! We were fine with that...Until Ric made the discovery today that...Its a boy! We may just go along with it being a girl until we can get a girl kitty to be "spooky's" friend! Any way...I think I am a Cat person after having him for the past month!

Ok...Until I can put current events around my house...oh and clean :) I have to put something up! If you did'nt know this about me....I am a very big fan (kinda obsessed) with Marie Antoinette and most anything French!! So of course I stumbled upon these pics! My Dearest Peeps...
A young woman Dear to my heart is re-doing a beautiful website/blog for me. She was one of my Laurels when I was a Laurel Advisor at church and she was Anchor's FIRST baby sitter. She grew up went to college and fell madly and deeply in love with Lukas...whom I LOVE! They are the neatest, cutest, talented & spiritual young couple! I could tell you more about this beautiful person but it would be a novel! I love the way she writes on her personal blog, the way she talks and just her! She is very LOVEABLE! She is also expecting her first baby!!! OK...back to my point she is working on a custom site for me and has the cutest Blog site with cute free blog back grounds/pages. I am LAME!

OK...so I have failed this Private thing TWICE....I thought I invited people to my blog....and I apparently didnt. So if anyone knows how to keep people from saving my pics on their computer....thats all I need to do! Just want the pervs out their to not have pics of my kids. Thats all. OK...I threatened it once before...But this time is for real! It is so sad that there are perverts in our world that would take an innocent photo of any child from a blog and put it on their disgusting foul websites! No. this has not happened to us...that we are aware of. However I have heard some pretty scarry stories as of recently that were close enough in relation/friendship that I think it is wise! I am disgusted by people that harm children and that like to look at them differntly than you or I. Actually...I feel Child offenders should be locked up for life. But that is not the case! So make sure I have your current email...and I will make sure you are on my list! SAD! Thanks!

Lost N Found

Came across this pic of Kingsley and I. We were at the beach in Oceanside CA. It was when My cousin Clint asked Brooke(his now wife) to marry him. I want to say it was in May/June of 2008. Kingsley is so small and chubby! I love it. I am sad she is growing so fast :(! Maybe another baby is needed in our growing home...I dont know!

Conversations with Little ones

Some of these are recent and some are a couple months old....some of you may already know them...so enjoy anyway! Smile maybe?!

Anchor wants to be an Engineer/Scientist/Inventor so badly! That is all he talks about most of the time! So as my friend Adrianne has said...this is good brainwashing!
Anchor wants to know what his life map is..(he just has to know) So we always tell him that after high school he will go to college very briefly to BYU and then on a mission when he is 19 til 21 yrs of age. Then when he gets back...he will attend BYU and at some point fall in love and get Married in the Temple.
However...he asked Ric and I recently.."what is the best engineering, invention college? Ric replied MIT. Anchor asked "where is MIT", that is where I jump in and tell him it is in Boston...and Boston is fabulous and Mom and Dad have been there! He then says...That is where I want to go to college and be the best engineer Inventor in the whole world! You can imagine we are sitting there smiling and could not be more happy that our 5 year old wants to go to MIT. I told him..."Mom and Dad LOVE Boston and we will come visit you alot!" So MIT it is! That is all he talks about now. Lets just pray he will have a scholarship!

So Ric and I decided...we leave Race or (Racey as Anchor has always called him) we leave him out of "what do you want to be when you grow up convos", actually...I do not think we leave him out...he doesn't selectively discuss it like Anchor man! So we asked him and he said " um well maybe I think I want to be an airplane guy, or a fireman guy...but actually I want to be a pizza guy." Yes...a Pizza guy...we wanted to laugh SOOOOOO Hard, but knew that would hurt his feelings! So we said awesome Race...you can deliver pizza to us all the time! Yes they are brothers but sooo different! Race however is incredibly bright and has been since he was a baby...I have video and journals to prove it :)!! Now he says he is going to MIT with Anchor and Anchor says "no you are not" (its Anchors thing obviously) and so I tell Race they can live together in Boston and he can go to Harvard!

Ok...so that is the story for today...I have more but I am way to tired to write....so more this week! Enjoy!

School Skate Night!

My boys are very active. Huck and Tom are their other names actually ;). So I thought that roller skating would be easy for them. After all they have been skiing, they attempt to skateboard, soccer...and stunts by the dozen at the house. I quickly learned...skating takes practice and patience!






So after tears of frustration and little bums that hurt from falling...nonstop...the hugs came and then the quarters for candy machines and crappy little toys and of course pizza always helps!

Twilight

OK....I resisted reading the Twilight books by Stepahie Meyer. Really because I dont have time and when I read ...It's usually quick reads by Mitch Albom. Anywho...So I finally rented Twilight....and well I am a fan! I am tempted to read the books...but maybe I will stick to watching the movies. ya...so childish of me but...Brad Pitt oh and Ric have competition! Robert Pattison who plays Edward Cullen...has a new fan!

Easter

Easter came and went...We had some friends over for lunch and then Sarah and her Family over for dinner. Sorry Sarah....I dont have pics of us!!! Here are some of my kids with their friend Lauren.

Happy B-Day MOM!

OK...so St. Patricks Day was my Moms B-day. And MOM, if I had all of your photos like Shelle had...I would do the same Rockin Post....so I am stealing from Michelle's post..Bwahahahaha! I Love you Mom! I did St. Patricks Dinner 2x. Once with Michelle and the other at home! It was so good! I thought of you and Miss you dearly! Oh and I spoke in my best Irish Accent! I was thinking of all the great things you have instilled in me and all the fun traditions too! I thank you for all the grace and manners you taught us. Thank you for always reading to me and using the English language so gracefully. Thanks for you beautifulness too! I love you and miss you...I miss your sense of humor...ahhhh memories! I LOVE YOU!

What will he say next?!

OK seriously...I could have a book all about conversations with Anchor!
On Monday...Anchor was asking me a ton of questions about Heavenly Father. He was so impressed that he Heavenly Father made the Earth and the Universe for that matter! We spoke about how wonderful, nice, smart & loving Heavenly Father is. Then in the most Serious voice & face he asks..."mom...why didn't you name me Heavenly Father?"
I, of course wanted to laugh...in a sweet mom, what will he say next kind of way...I just replied that there is only one Heavenly Father, and that Anchor is a pretty cool name and that he was a very special and important boy and will do amazing things in his life!

"I would like to speak to the owner"

At church this past Sunday...I was told in the hallway that I had to talk to Heather(the Primary Pres.) and that she had a VERY FUNNY story about Anchor. (note to readers: Anchor is 5 years old, very inquisitive, does not forget much and will run a country someday)
So the story told by many go's like this...
Anchor was sitting next to his Sunday school teacher (Heidi), he decided that he would rather sit with the "big boys" across the room. Heidi then proceeded to say, "Anchor, you should stay with your class", Anchor still insisted and Heidi then said many times "Oh Anchor, I would miss you if you sat by them, please sit by me". Anchor then said " I would like to speak to the owner". (I am sure Heidi wanted to burst out in laughter), she tried to convince him to talk to her that she was his teacher etc...he kept on insisting to speak to the "owner (of the church)" Just as he was getting up to walk towards the big boys, Heidi turned him over to Heather who was walking by and she explained that Anchor would like to speak to the "owner". Heather assured Anchor that he could speak to her because after all she is the Primary president. That she is kind of like the boss of all the kids at church.

Anchor and Heather went back and forth and Anchor, just wanted to speak to the owner (he wasn't buying it) Just then Bishop Tripp was walking by and Heather said oh here he is Anchor...she explained to Anchor that Bishop Tripp was like the owner...he was over the whole ward. She let Bishop Tripp know that Anchor really wants to speak to the owner. So Bishop Tripp talked to Anchor in his office (I haven't spoke to him yet about their Conversation) But he walked Anchor back to primary and Anchor had a big smile on his face. Bishop told Heather that if Anchor was good then after church he could come back to his office and get a piece of candy out of the candy jar.
Mothers note:
So what I find funny about this is that Anchor almost daily asks me about Heavenly Father, Jesus, Satan, who made what etc. Just that Sunday morning Anchor asked me if Heavenly Father was invisible. I replied to him that he was to most people but to certain people like prophets he isn't. He also has asked me who the owner/boss of our church is and I always tell him Heavenly Father & Jesus. I just never know what is going on in that little guys head...I would have been deathly afraid to speak to adults with such confidence when I was a child (maybe not now) Also Ric and I have never uttered ever "I would like to speak to the owner"...so where he got that from...I have know clue!!! Anyway...Anchor definitely keeps us laughing at home...and keeps people at church laughing too....I hope!
