He's finally here!!

Meet Baby Connor!

Connor James Gefrom was born Thursday, May 5, 2011 at 9:30pm (Cinco de Mayo!)

Connor was 10 pounds 7 ounces, 21 1/2 inches long and had a ton of dark blonde hair!

Mom only pushed twice and he was out! And we all couldn't believe he was so big!! He looks like a two month old, not a newborn.

He is so sweet and his older brothers and sisters absolutley love him! They all can't wait to hold him and argue over who is next! Its wonderful though, there is a lot of hand washing going on and we dont' even have to remind the kids!

He has Brielle's eyes, Chase and Mark's nose, Blake's face shape and Lips like Chase and Brielle. A little bit of everyone mixed in there!

Blake loves to kiss and hold him! Whenever there is a peep out of Connor Blake runs to the bathroom, washes his hands and then runs to Connors aid.

Baby Connor has been such a blessing in our home already. It has been wonderful to slow down and enjoy the sweetness and peace a new baby brings. I have the feeling this may be our last child,a nd it has placed a new and different perspective on this little infant for me. I have absolutle loved and enjoyed the infancy of all my children, but this time is different. Knowing it may be the last time I am up all night feeding, the last time i am enjoying the sweet smell of heaven on his newborn skin, and the last time i have a completely dependant little angel in my arms, I am soaking it up. I love him so much!!

It has been so nice to have have Mark off for a total of two weeks to help take care of things and to focus on the older kids so that I can take care of Connor and snuggle with him. I can't believe we have FOUR children!! pretty crazy...

Easter 2011

Easter was really fun. The normal festivities occurred. Chase was so cute ATTACKING the eggs! He ran to each one, arm swinging frantically as he dove on top of the eggs. It was hilarious!!

Another funny thing that happened was the night before Easter we were putting the kids to bed and Brielle started freaking out about the Easter Bunny coming inside our house! She was so tired and I could tell, but she just kept crying and saying she didn't want the Easter Bunny to come inside the house. She said "The thing of the matter is, I'm scared of Santa, and I'm scared of Leprechauns, and I'm scared of the Easter Bunny too!!" (It was so hard not to laugh!) But she was so genuine and really scared.

So we asked her what we should do and she said to have the bunny leave the stuff outside on the porch. To which Blake cries, "Brielle! You are RUINING EASTER for me!!! That's NOT FAIR!" Well, we reassured her the bunny wouldn't come inside and told Blake we'd work it out and it'd be ok, that we'd leave the bunny a note to leave every thing outside and then Dad and I would still hide the eggs the Easter bunny left for them. It was quite the affair, but we got them to bed. And the Easter bunny just did everything as normally planned. In the morning there was not ONE comment made about the Easter bunny coming in the house. Brielle was as happy as could be and excited about all the eggs and Easter loot. She was just so tired the night before she was being dramatic and emotional. Oh girls! Gotta love em! And Easter morning was a hit at 6:30am for about 20 minutes. Then mom and dad went back to bed for another hour and a half!!:)

LAst Day of Tap

Brielle had her last tap class and grandma and papa came to watch her. I was really impressed with her and all her hard work! She was really focused and wanted to get every move just right. So cute:)

Chase Cuteness

Chase turned 3 on April 1st!!! I cant' believe my baby is already three years old! Crazy! He is so funny! He is constantly cracking us up with his words, facial expressions, and funny mannerisms. He is really into play fighting with his figures and make appropriate action noises. He loves watching movies, playing with Blake and Brielle, is very interested in babies, and of course, candy;)

He says his favorite color is orange and he loves eating apples, bananas and oranges, strawberries, and his FAVORITE is cantaloupe! Also, Popsicles, and NOODLES!! That kid could down 3-4 plates of spaghetti in one sitting!! He became potty trained in February and has done really well with it...so proud of him. He likes to go commando though...is not interested in underwear AT ALL! He is getting quite bossy in his old age...i don't' know where he's picked that up from...seeing as how most of what he says is just mimicking his siblings;)

Chase is full of energy and love! One of my favorite things is when I put him to bed he says, "Butterfly tisses" (Eyelashes fluttering together) "And the nother one" (Opposite eyes turn) "Estimo tisses" (noses rubbing together) "and Tisses" (Kiss on the lips) "And hugs" (BIG squeezy hug and he sniffs my neck). So cute and sweet!! And he follows it up with "I yuv you mom. Seet deams." (I love you mom, sweet dreams)

Chase loves his little baby cousin "Yee-uh" (Leah) And kisses her head and asks to hold her all the time. He is excited for his baby brother to come:)

And so excited to play with his new birthday toy...this farm set came with a million pieces and took daddy hours and hours to put together!! Can you see the unorganized mass of parts behind him on the table?? There were seriously a ton of things this set came with, tractors, animals, household items, barns, etc and they were all IKEA style in separate bags, that had no relation to one another. It was a hunt for each piece! Thanks, Daddy for your perseverance!

OH, this is a cute note i found that Brielle had written and left on Blake's dresser. So sweet:) It says, "I love you mom and dad!...and i love Chase and Blake too"

Mister Mister with his new haircut.

He desperately needed a haircut anyways, but got some gum stuck in his hair. He was being so difficult about me touching his hair to get it out. I managed to get most of it out really easy with an ice cube, but he was just being so squirmy and screaming. So when Mark got home he said, "OH, if I give him a haircut that will be gone!" Yes, please:) So it worked out great. Good thing Chase is not a girl...;)
