Taking the time to go back and retrace the steps of the many heartaches and blessings our family has experienced in the last two years.
It all started on our Spring Break 2016 trip.
We are headed to St.George as we had many times before, but this time we are taking Grandma and Grandpa with us!
This is their first time in St. George and we can't wait to share its beauty with them.
Day 1: Bryce Canyon National Park
It was a beautiful day for a road trip as the 8 of us piled into the (piled high) minivan and started on our trek southward.
We left early to allow us a detour from the I-15 to share with Grandma and Grandpa one of our favorite sights and National Parks.
Day 2: Exploring at Pioneer Park
Otherwise known as the greatest place to let your kids explore and climb on rock!

loved Pioneer Park- it made mommy nervous!!
Its all fun and games until someone becomes overtired and has a meltdown.
Day 3: Downtown St.George.
The Childrens Discovery Museum is a big kit with the kids. They love the freedom to play, imagine and create! Plus showing off for Grandma and Grandpa is a plus!
Day 4: Exploring the area
(or so we pretend, its really like parts of day 2,4,6)

A run in with a Cactus!
If anyone was going to find a cactus it would be Lexi.
No need for a full moon, these two like to howl like wolves boring noon and night!
Day 5: Zions National Park

Day 7: Condo life is our kind life.
Chilling at the pool is high on the list of priorities for our family when on vacation!
After an Idaho winter, this family is ready for some sunshine. Kiddies in the kiddie pool, Addi makes a splash in her new mermaid tail in the pool and Lexi Lu just can't help it- she has to go around and open every patio umbrella. She is just fascinated by the mechanics of it all! Then shuffle board in the evening. Its so nice to relax!
Finish out the day with some shuffle board. Its a rough day, LOL!
It's always hard to say good bye to Spring Break,
it's always harder when an hour into your drive you encounter SNOW!!
We were not prepared and we even had to change the kids out of their sun dresses and flip flops once we were parked in the parking lot so we could go out and explore Cove Fort.
It was a cold brutal reminder that we were not in St. George anymore!
