"I get down, HE lifts me up"...I think of this VBS song often. I am up. The school year is going good. I feel so organized and on top of things since I am not going to school. The laundry does not overtake me, lunches get made, and I actually get time to veg out in front of the TV for "Glee" or "Survivor"... my favorite shows. I'm almost scared for the "I get down" part because life tells me it must be coming : ) Abigail loves 2nd grade - she is happy and learning new things everyday. She is the only 2nd grader in ECL (Clovis' GATE for young children) - yes we're proud. Lilly loves preschool and unfortunatly is more concerned with her "boyfriends" than the bible stories taught each week. Jeff and I are happily living life and enjoying our girls activities....ballet for Lilly is the highlight of her week and Abby loves swimming several times a week for Clovis Swim Club. Can it get any better? We had a great last camping trip. Love my family, living our dreams....I hope that Life doesn't have challenges in the waiting......... If it does we're ready : )

Poor Maggie Mae
Our poor Maggie had an unfortunate incident getting out of the garden a week ago and is suffering from a broken leg. She has been a trooper, in fact the day after getting her cast, we had trouble believing it was actually broken. She is her usual puppy self, but must be in her crate or tied to a small space at all times. While we were swimming Sunday, she managed to jump up to the table and destroy the entire Sunday paper. She was so mischevious that she had to get a new cast and is now on sedatives per doctors orders. We miss her smile, but will give her extra pets and kisses to ensure a full recovery!

Father's Day Camping Trip
I feel truly blessed to still be madly in love with my best friend. Jeff is a super husband and great father. One of the best things he brings to our family is a love for the outdoors. I went camping with my own family as a girl (showers, bathrooms), but nothing like the camping we do now (baby wipes, hole in the ground). Jeff takes us to the most beautiful and isolated spots...places where we can truly enjoy the company of our own family and witness God's glory first hand. So thank you Jeff for converting me nearly 18 years ago into a true camper and for sharing these great trips with me and our girls. Happy Father's Day!
