Im such a slacker!!

Sorry so late on this, but here was our Christmas. We had a wonderful Christmas season. We spent lots of time with family and friends and enjoyed every second of it. We told the kids that they were not to wake us up until 6:00, because Kaycie needed to sleep at least until then, but by her picture you can tell it was not long enough. She lasted about an hour and then fell back to sleep. All the kids got some very cool gift from dad and mom, grandparents, aunts and uncles and of course SANTA. Here are just a few pictures of the BIG day! Maggie with new Chaps, Virgil and Ty with Chap leather, Waylon with new Ski's, Shadie with new boots, and Roanie with her favorite gift, Kaycie. In the middle of all that was going on she still wanted to hold her baby sister. The group picture was taken first thing with they woke up before we opened their gifts. The girls got some really cool aprons from Grandma Susan and one of the coolest gifts was a Motorcycle they got from their Aunt Jenny and Uncle Jake along with from dad and mom. They were so excited the whole day and for every gift they got but when Uncle Jake came up with the Motorbike, I think that beat them all! We had a great season and we hope you all did as well. >

" The Nutcracker 2012 "

Thanksgiving weekend is always fun, with all the family get togethers, but one of my favorite family traditions is to go to the Nutcracker with my girls. Shadie and I have gone 3 years now and Maggie got to go with us this year beacuse she is old enough to go. We have lots of friends that dance in the Nutcracker and the coolest thing was that my nephew Briton got the part as a party boy. It was so fun to see him dance and act, which my brother Bret went with us also so he could see Briton as well. The girls each took a little nap but was able to stay awake for most of it. It was so much fun and can't wait to see it again next November.

"Breaking Dawn"

So in November of 2012, Breaking Dawn came out, and I am kindof sad because it is the last of the Twilight Saga movies. I really love the books, like the movies but the best part about seeing the Twilight movies is the people I get to hang out with. It is the best night out ever (except the nights out with just JP). This group of family and friends that are in the pictures have been through all the movies together. With the first one being "Twilight" in Logan, when you couldn't pick your seat and sitting for hours at the theater so that we could all sit together, then we started to go to Ogden or Salt Lake to a theater that we could pick our seats so that we didn't have to be there till right before. This last movie we got to see in Logan again, because Mega Plex bought out most of the Logan theaters and put in the program so we could reserve our seats when we bought the tickets. So we went that way this Fall and did dinner together before the movie. Seriously, the funnest group in the world. We missed a few of the regulars, but still had 11 of us make it and it was so much fun.

Christmas 2012

Dear Family & Friends, Dec. 2012 We have been blessed so much here at the Parker home this year, and everyday is new and exciting. We are still in Providence, UT. and we love the area and our many wonderful neighbors. Our family grew a little bit bigger this June, when we received a baby girl and in November, Jared and I celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary. Jared continues to stay super busy with family, the ranch, the auction, and his church calling. He works really hard to make sure each of theses areas are succesful and fun. I am a happy and privleged stay at home mom with 7 very active children. We are all really busy trying to juggle school, work, church, friends, roping, 4-H, horse shows, sports, family, and fun time. Most days our house is a MAD one, but we wouldn't change it for the world. As for the kids, TY is 13 years old and is a very handsome and smart young man. He is a wonderful big brother to all of his younger siblings and a great help to his dad and mom. Ty is a hard worker and has learned quickly the many resposibilities that are put upon teenagers these days and he does well to balance them all. He still enjoys riding and working with horses, reading, snowmobiling, friends, family and has taken a liking to cooking and tries many new things for breakfest and for snack time. VIRGIL is almost 11 years old and he grows taller and taller each day and eats more and more each day as well. This young man is super funny and is also very helpful. He is in the 5th grade and has a wonderful teacher that pushes him to his potential. Virg likes to work with all animals, ride his horse, play games and has started to work with leather and really enjoys making little gifts for all his family members. WAYLON is 8 years old and was baptised in June. It was a special day for him and he was surrounded by many loved ones. Waylon is so happy, loving and kind, and is super hard working. He is always the first one on the job and the last one done. He is always worried about everyone around him, he is such a good example to us and those that come in contact with him. His likes haven't changed much this year, just like his dad and brothers he enjoys roping, riding and working with horses, he also loves soccer and is a real goal getter. He loves being with his family and he and Shadie are inseperable. SHADIE is almost 6 years old, in the 1st grade and is all COWGIRL!! She likes looking pretty but enjoys working hard and getting dirty even more. She is a wonderful big sister to her 3 little sisters and helps keep her 3 older brothers in line. She got a new horse this summer, that is super big and super fast. “Lightning” and her get along great and are all over the ranch. She is learning to ride bareback so she can be an Indian in the Wellsville Sham-Battle next summer. She, just like Waylon played soccer this year and really likes it. MAGGIE will be 4 in January and is so much fun. She has a very loving and caring personality toward Roanie (which isn't easy) and is always worried that Roanie is safe and happy. She plays well with others and is very smart. She enjoys going to work with dad and spending time with her grandparents, aunts, uncles, siblings and our neighbors the Sterr's. Maggie loves to ride her horse “ Red” and can't wait to start preschool next year. ROANIE is 2 ½ years old and is truly in her terrible two's!! 90% of the time she is kind, happy and sweet but the other 10% she is not so much. 10% of the time she enjoys being an explorer, mischieveious and get into things that are not hers. In the other 90% of her time she is a good big sister to Kaycie and really likes changing her diaper, feeding her, and helping give her a bath. Roanie and Maggie are best friends and although they butt heads often they are quick to say sorry and go back to playing nicely together. She too loves animals and you can often find her with our dog on the back porch. KAYCIE MIGNONNE was born June 19th, was 7 lbs. 1 oz. 19 inches long. Shortly after she arrived she was greeted by 6 very anxious siblings, and from that day on she has either been rocked, held, fed, played with, sung to, and even ridden by Roanie. This little angel was sent to us directly from HEAVEN and is such a good baby, a true blessing for us all. Kaycie was quiet a surprise but what a wonderful little surprise she has been. We are so thankful to have the opportunity to celebrate our Saviors' birth at this special time of year, and to share it all with you. Please try to keep in touch over the very hectic 2013 year. BACK TO SCHOOL!!

Well, it is that time of year again. BACK TO SCHOOL!! We really don't like having to go back to school, but once we get in the swing of things, the kids really do enjoy it a lot. They love to learn and be with there friends and be able to do different things. They have great teachers and are really headed for a great year. Here are there pictures on the first day. Ty is in 7th grade, Virgil 5th, Waylon 3rd and Shadie is in 1st.
