VACATION

We had a blast on our vacation. It was such a nice and beautiful place to get some rest and refreshment. I have always wanted to take pictures with my wonderful hubby on the beach...our sweet friends were so kind and made the photo shoot so much fun.

Christy and Lindsay, know we were thinking of you much as we enjoyed the beach. We will meet you there next year.

How we marvel at the glory that is displayed in His beautiful creation. Two of the mornings of our vacation we woke up early to see the sunrise. His compassions are truly new every morning.

To reach our destination we had to take a ferry for 2 hours, then get on one of these longnecks

for about 20 minutes. So much fun!!

Eddie, we sure miss you driving us around on the ski boat.

Yes, this is a very strange picture, but you must know that I am pretty proud of myself. I am not sitting on the beach, but actually squatting. For those of you don't know, here in our parts people will often just squat...anywhere. Now, I seem to do it quite often...it is a sign to myself that I am adapting to my culture.

Bec, I wouldn't suggest you doing this.

Its a jungle out there...

This is the beginning of filling you in on our travels over the last few weeks. We have been having a blast exploring a wide variety of experiences. No really make yourself comfortable! This was one of our friends we met in the "jungle". They were full of personality.

This was my favorite animal of the day, Nat. Isn't he a cutie. I wanted to take him home with me.
Aikman looks like he found a new friend. When we reached the place with the Gibbons this one immediately started climbing on him. Aikman and I were gone during the instructions that its OK if they do this...so he was a little surprised when this little fella began climbing his way up.

This was our first meal of eating foods that make us feel like we are home. So excited to eat some normal food we didn't even wait to leave the airport. We seem to be adapting rather nicely to our new home because when we eat foods like this our tummies just don't know what to think.
