Daddy's Dance Party!

My girls are lucky to have such a fun dad! They definitely have him wrapped around their fingers and I love how excited they get when he gets home from work! In the past few weeks Dan has gotten the girls into having Dance Party's to 50's songs. Some of Macey's favorites are Surfing USA, Surfing Safari, Jailhouse Rock and Walk Like a Man! It is so fun to spend time together being silly and getting our grove on :) And I am always excited about things that get the girls away from the TV!

I have really been thinking about how lucky I am to have such a great little family! We have so much fun together and it is amazing how the addition of Avery to our family has really made it feel more complete, more like a real family if that makes sense :) I love to watch the relationship between Macey and Avery grow, as Avery is getting bigger they can play together a little more and they are such sweet friends! Sometimes in the midst of tantrums, sleepless nights, messes, whining, etc, it is easy to forget how incredible these two sweet girls are and how they and their wonderful dad make my life perfect!

Hats and Boots and Wands, Oh My!

With two "fancy" girls at our house dress-up clothes have pretty much infiltrated our everyday wardrobe! Macey can often be seen at the store or the library looking slightly like a story book character and of course the flowered boots go everywhere but church :) Avery has started to follow in her sisters footsteps (bootsteps?) and requested to where her snow boots the other day with no trace of the white stuff outside! She sure looked cute but I wondered if her feet got hot!
