Hola a todos! I picked this title because we've made lots of phone calls this week and they've been successful! We have a records of people who have been taught in the past and we call them up and a lot of them answered (rare occasion!) and were actually interested in hearing a message! It was really cool to see their circumstances changed and the Lord has been preparing them to hear the gospel.
Highlights:
️ we knocked a whole apartment complex on saturday 
it was two floors and we talked to a lot of nice grandmas! Some let us in and gave us cool stuff, one let us in and got us all settled and then we asked if we could share a scripture and she said no... so we shuffled back out pretty quick haha️ talking to Aneth and Belize about baptism!! We invited them to be baptized in in a post-church lesson and we had a really good discussion about praying to know if this is what God wants for them. So they dont have a date yet but they are so faith-filled and brave to be so open minded and willing to change. So please pray for them and their parents!️ we had dinner with Daniela, the most amazing recent convert ever - she has such a strong testimony. She shows up to everything and loves the people in our ward! I want to be like her someday. But we had dinner at her house and went to her back porch (her backyard fence is the border) and saw the most majestic sunset ever! ️ Fiesta mexicana tonight!! Its Mexico's independence day today so our ward is having a big party that we've invited all our friends to! Its going to be awesome! 
Lowlight: our AC is broken... so it's actually like 85 degrees in our house aka cooler outside with a breeze than in our stuffy apartment. but we have 2 giant fans and a guy coming to fix it today! 
Spanish word of the week: esfuerzos = efforts. We pray a lot for God to magnify our efforts here, and He does!!
Bug of the week: katydid in our apartment on the same day our ac broke. I was upstairs catching him and Hna Woodbury was downstairs trying to fix the ac - women in STEM fr 
Spiritual thought: I've been studying gospel principles and how they connect to my missionary purpose. This was the mega important thing I learned - rely on God!! you can do it yourself or you can do it with Him and it will be a million times easier! the entire point of this covenant path that we're on is to try to align our will with God's. we have faith in Jesus Christ and trust that He can help us 
then we repent, which is an action that requires being willing to change and then we have faith to be baptized and be spiritually born of God and be renewed! And the Holy Ghost with us to help us become better every day! It's such an amazing plan and he planned it for YOU. Take advantage of it! One action item I made was to pray earnestly to have my will changed to become His. So give it a try with me this week! You are awesome! God loves you and sees your efforts.
