So, another year has come and gone and there are NO posts to show for it. A lot has happened since May 2009, and really I didn't post at all between Gracie's birthday and James' birth, so I have almost all of 2009 and 2010 to catch up on. Fun times. When we started blogging it was mainly for our family and friends "back home" and then we came back home and it didn't seem too important to keep up with the blog. My new mindset is that the blog is my way of scrapbooking. Let's face it, I don't scrapbook...I have great tools to use: paper, scissors, stickers galore, and even the scrapbooks themselves, but I have yet to make a scrapbook and Gracie is about to turn five!
I don't care for "making resolutions" in January and for me setting goals is just another way of making resolutions (this time of year anyway), but I am all about getting out of a rut and making changes, so here we go. My blogging goal is to post once a week (baby steps). My life goals are to know Jesus better and spend more quality time with my family. Another goal that I'll just go ahead and throw out there is to keep running after the half marathon in February. I want to become a better runner and maybe even do a whole marathon one day. I do have other goals, but no need to bore you with it all in one post. I'm sure my "goals" will come out in my post as I navigate my way through this new year.
I may get a little blog happy here at the beginning, but don't worry, I'm sure it'll slow down to once a week in a bit. I have two really cute subjects to take pictures of and a wonderful husband to share life with so I am overflowing with things to journal about.
Here's to a new year of blogging!
