Utah is so beautiful this time of the year. I love looking around while driving from errand to errand. I will miss all the pretty colors here!

Bailey's 3rd Birthday

Bailey is 3. Yeah, she's old. I really noticed it this year b/c I just went through all our videos. It was so sweet, but kind of broke my heart to hear her little voice when she was 1, and 2! Now she just seems so big! But, I know when I look at video of this year next year she'll seem really young at age 3.

So, Bailey is really into dress-up, princesses, that sort of stuff. She decided to have a Princess & Pirate birthday party!

October

October seems to be our busiest month! Mostly because it's Bailey's and my mom's birthday and Halloween! There are so many activities for Halloween throughout the month; I love it.

My Aunt Stacie lives in Lehi. I've been very lucky to always live by at least one family member! Anyway, she home schools her kids and they go on the most fun field trips! Sweet Stacie invites me and my kiddos to come along! This time we went to Cornbelly's. Bailey and Lily had so much fun playing together. They are so cute.

Lily is about 4 mos younger than Bailey, but fearless! Bailey would not go on the bouncy things unless Lily was holding her hand! Bailey is a bit of a scaredy cat, but its cute!


We got to drive down to AZ for the weekend to surprise my mom for her 50th birhday! I cannot believe my mom is 50! She certainly does not look like it. I sure hope I got those genes! Anyway, we got there late Wednesday night. My mom was on the computer so we had Bailey walk up to her. It was funny to see my mom's reaction. I think she thought it was Emma at first! Ah, good stuff. We had a very busy and fun weekend.

We went to Shnepf farms with the Gibbons on Thursday! That place is really fun! I went there when I was young, but I did not remember it!

One of the funniest things we did there was ride the roller coaster. My mom watched the kids but we really wanted her to come. That little coaster would've really hurt her neck! So, Steph and Taylor, me, Kylee and her friend braved the coaster. It was so funny. We were all being silly at first and just saying dumb stuff like you have to keep your arms up the whole time. Well after the first little hill and almost flying out of my seat I put my arms down and then we all proceeded to laugh so hard we cried! One of the funniest rides I've ever been on!


My mom's birthday party was on Saturday night! So, Saturday during the day we were all busy getting ready. My mom went to Time-Out for women, so she was out of the way;) My Aunt Stacie, Aunt Tricia, and Grandma & Earl all flew out to surprise my mom as well! She had a lot of surprises this birthday. The party was so much fun. We ate Machaca and various forms of junk food. Then my dad called everyone inside to watch a DVD he had made for her! It was so sweet. It started with pictures of her growing up, then pics of just her and Kylee, then her and Mandy and so on till just dad and mom! I cried, mom cried, we all cried! It was great! Then we headed back outside and danced the night away! My feet were killing me by the end! I think mom had a pretty good birthday! Sadly, I don't have any pictures of it b/c I took pics with my mom's camera. Hopefully I'll get some later! We also gave her a scrapbook with everyone's picture and personal notes to her!

September 2010

September was a wonderful month here in Provo. The weather was perfect! I turned 28! It's kind of sad that I get confused about what age I am now. I guess I stopped keeping track somewhere in the mid 20's. Oh, well! I had a nice date night with my husband. We went out to eat at Macaroni Grill and saw Inception. Then we had dessert at The Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, Yum! We hardly ever go on dates, so it's pretty fun for me when we do!

For Family Home Evening we went on a little walk to Bridal Veil Falls. It was pretty crowded so I assume it must be a fun thing to do for FHE here! We had a lot of fun anyway:)


For another FHE our ward primary went to the provo temple. We all met in our "quad" and walked over to the Provo temple together. We had a couple in our ward meet us at the temple in thier wedding attire and talk to the kids about being sealed in the temple. This is Bailey and Tim playing on the hill after the lesson!

Oh, and we all got to go to a BYU game together! Tim walked down the street to the stadium before the game and got us some tickets! I had fun even though Bailey did not! She covered her ears most of the game!!

Luckily, there were some very nice girls sitting next to us who ended up sharing their kettle corn with Bailey and playing with her! She really liked them!

She was also entertained by her princess water-color papers! She did those the whole time.

Bailey, you are so funny. You will only wear dresses! It's very hard to convince you to put on jeans. Hopefully when the cold weather hits you'll come around!

TJ loves to crawl into the bathroom and play. It's his favorite room and I think its gross, but whatever! He especially loves to go in and play with Bailey when it's bathtime! I love seeing my kiddos play together!

Weekend in Cedar City

We got to spend the weekend with my parents in Cedar City! We had so much fun exploring the city, hiking, eating, and hanging out in the hotel.

Today was an ordinary, lovely day! Cleaned, fed my family, had the kids do some fun activities, paid attention to them, had alone time, had the kids take naps, read scriptures, and had family prayers!
