Austin the Super Golfer

Since Audrey updated the blog, I thought you might like some pictures. Here's some of Austin golfing. He made the Klein Oak Varisty Golf team last fall as a freshman. He's made steady progress since. I've really enjoyed watching him golf a few tournaments this summer...he didn't like me watching before because I made him too nervous.

Audrey the Swim Diva

Audrey joined our neighborhood swim team this year. She did well, especially since she had not been in a swim meet since her debut and at six. She did especially well in the 100 Freestyle and took 4th at a meet.
She also suprised us by swimming 112 laps (25 yards each) at the Red Cross Swim Across fund raiser in June. It was amazing!

New Year

Holy cow we made it through 2012. I feel horible that we have not posted in like 2 years. I think one of my new year resolutions will be to keep up the family blog. By the way this is audrey. I am sick right now so i decided to start bloging. Mabey i am turing into a crazy blog mother. I will give you a quick update of the last year. I, Audrey am now of my school basketball team go warriors. I really enjoy playing it is alot of fun. I also am continueing my theater comoptition group, Di it is alot of fun and hard work. Tyler is an avid rock climber. He is on a competitive climbing team at Stone moves. He LOVES it. Austin is still loving golf. He is one of the top players at his school, go austin. He recently won an award from school for placing 2nd in an mock stock market compition in our region. That is HUGE thier were alot of people that did the compotion. My mom is going to go back to school some time to get a masters. She loves gardening. She is no longer a seminary teacher but a gospel doctrinre teacher she likes booth callings. My dad works at an investment bank called Barclays. He is the head over all trading in the Americas. Unfortantly he goes out of town alot, but he is doing for a good cause. We are very thankful to God for such good family and freinds and the gosple in our life. Hope all of you had a wonderful holiday season.

We have not posted in shuch along time. Sine then lots of things have happened. Tyler quit Karate. I, Audrey am starting to do swimming. I did swim team this summer on the Glenloch Gators. Austin is in to golf and is on the Klien Oak Golf Team. He is also playing in lots of tournements around Texas. Sorry for any spelling mistakes.

Tyler Earns His Yellow Belt

Tyler has been taking karate for a few months. It has been great exercise and he has learned some really cool moves. Occasionally he "teaches" those moves to his siblings-which always results in someone being hurt. Imagine that!

Anyway, he tested for his yellow belt advancement in January. He had to perform several forms, kicking demonstrations, break a board, spar for a continuous five-ten minutes (part of the time against a brown belt 2)and perform several tests of fitness. It was impressive and he passed with flying colors and was awarded his yellow belt. He is doing so well that he will again skip a belt, and test directly for his blue belt in April. Ki-Ya!
