Pillar of Character

Hyrum was nominated for a Pillar of Character award, for his grade, by his teacher for Responsibility. He had made this a goal of his for the new year and was so excited to have accomplished it. I don't know which he was more excited about, the award or the doughnut breakfast. (Yes, he is my son.) But either way it was a special event for him, and us. We're proud of you Hyrum!!

Riding bikes, etc....

Paige had her first field trip and I wsa lucky enough to chaperone. We saw 'If You Give a Moose a Muffin' at a local children's theater and then a picnic afterwards at a park. I loved being there with her and watching her with all her classmates. She is so fun, I can barely believe she is my daughter. Until I think about the massive amounts of Dramamine that I have to pump into her system the morning of the long bus ride so she can make it out of the neighborhood without our typical family barfing. Yes that is my daughter.

Paige decided, in her typical fearless fashion, that she wanted to start riding a bike. She got us to take off her training wheels and then hit the road. She did great except every time she crashed, she would laugh hysterically. We don't know if she laughed because of the crash or if she crashed because she was laughing so hard. It's hard to tell with Paige.

The twins, as I like to call them. They look so much alike.

Happy Birthday Lulu!!!

Oh Lulu.

How we love you. Your spicy personality and raspy voice. Your constant cuddles and finger wagging when we are "NOTTY!!!" Those blue eyes that melt us. The patience in following all your siblings around. You were surprised to have a day devoted to just you. Hyrum dressed you like a princess in the morning to prepare you for your day, before mom and dad were even out of bed. (Thank you Hyrum!!) You welcomed each friend at the door with a huge smile and exclaimation of their name. You're our little princess and we love you so very, very much. Happy Birthday beautiful girl!!!

Brittan's growing up

Our Brittan is growing up. She is a sweetheart and we all love her. She helps me out every day with her sweet demeanor and patience. We all love her!!

Today, 6 1/2 months old.

What's next?

We went to Dinsneyworld in September. We spent a week there with our friends the Craguns. The kids were catapulted to a land of fantasy filled with endless princesses, waterparks, fun rides, junk food, and sleepovers every night with their friends. Besides the intense fatigue, dehydration, and exhaustion that all parents of children visiting Disneyworld suffer from, we couldn't have had more fun! Honestly, it was a dream vacation we had been looking forward to for a long time and we loved every minute of it.

Brakfast with the princesses in the castle with all our girls. This was the most memorable thing for them and they still talk about it.

First thing we did in the park, meet Mickey. Olivia was NOT impressed.

These two were in HEAVEN. Honestly, they just break my heart. We let them wear their dress-ups in the park on this day.

We got all the kids Disney PJ's and let them wear them all week and one evening into the park to see fireworks.

It was a wonderful week.
