Well, it's now April mid April to be exact... Life flies by! I have been clean and sober for 9 months and counting Still blows my mind and makes me sad at times on how much of my life I wasted on drugs. But sometimes you have to fall flat on your face before you get it!
August, turned 8 in march and is growing up too fast I think any Momma would say that about her baby! And I also had a birthday in March too 38 and still kicking'... I can't believe this school year is getting close to an end a month and a half left. Crazy!
Three months ago I started seeing a psychologist so I could get my head on straight. The depression and anxiety were kicking my butt and I mean hard. I hate to be sad and so nervous that I felt like I was having a heart attack. but with a few changes I medicine and adding a couple of new ones life is getting better. It's been hard for me to find my new "normal" after doing drugs for 20 years or that's what my therapist tells me.
Troy is doing great still struggles with his anxiety but is so much better at coping with it. Very proud of him he's a great man and I wish I could be more like him in the forgiveness department!!!
The reason I haven't been better about keeping up with this is that I am working a lot, got bite by the face book bug or better yet told to be quit being a baby and start one up again. Plus I got a stupid cell phone after not having on for 10 years...crap the phone is smarter then me :) but really that's it we are all just getting through life day by day with the Lords help and each other!

Christmas 2013
Our Christmas at home was very nice and quiet this year. My parents came over and we opened presents which I got no pictures of.....and we also ate French toast casserole which was yummy too!!!

We celebrated Christmas the weekend before with my brother and his family in Midland. Fun was had by all and great food was consumed too!! Lots of video games were played and lots of crazy cousin time was had!!

Just Gingerbreadin'
Oh, Man all these kids are growing up too fast!! I can remember the first time we did this Breckan was barely two and wore the cutest footy pajamas to the gathering. Usually Gena and I do this in the morning and have donuts and then decorate but over the years times have changed and we just make sure we MAKE it happen. Yes, I was the one who iced poor Aidan and Lanta's house that is why it has a "sunroof"!!! I swear there is never enough icing in those kits anyways! Aidan made me feel better he hugged me and told me it was OK he still loved me... sweet boy!!
