i had a lot of fun taking these pics of my friend kate and her little family. her little boy bracken is the cutest thing ever!! although it was freezing outside and bracken was only happy when he was being fed cheerios, i think we still managed to get some great shots of them all together.

aren't they cute?!! and isn't katie's red hair to die for gorgeous?!! i've been envious of it ever since i met her back in 4th grade.

jayme asked if i would take family pictures for her and her oh so cute little family. of course i jumped at the chance! and although it was freezing cold outside and we had some problems keeping miss lyvie happy, i think we still got some good shots! what do you think?

i met evelyn a while back in a photography class. we have kept in touch ever since. she has been a great resource and friend to me. she has helped me a lot with getting my photography business started. she is a great photographer and has her own business, Freckles Photography. go check her work out!

on saturday the 15th, i met up with her and her family to do a little causal photo shoot and to talk shop. we had a great time and i learned so much from her.

just look how gorgeous evelyn looks in these photos! doesn't she look like the happy perfect, "my life is great!" moms you see in tv commercials?! :)

i love the way her and her husband interact with their kids. they are such a cute family. i'm glad i was able to capture these moments for her. i really hope she enjoys the pics. :)

now they are a happily married couple of 5 years and have a sweet lil' baby boy: izak a.k.a ikester!! don't they make the most beautiful family?!!

this is shaylene. she is my hubby's baby sister: my sis-in-law. she took a walk on the wild side and went from blond to brunette! so i am no longer the only one with dark hair on the barrus side! so to commemorate the event i snapped a few photos.
