Fun at Hafer Park

Viv and I had a great time the other day at Hafer Park. I really went to spend some time getting to know my new camera, and Viv just happens to be a great model! She wasn't really into looking at the camera that much, but the model doesn't always have to be looking at the camera. I really liked catching her enjoying nature and having fun outside!

Viv's day

See, here's the books! First thing she did this morning was take the books off the shelf. I gave up and they're still all over the floor right now.
I do like that she likes books though!
After the books, she went for my vanity where she routinely pulls down as many bracelets as she can. Well today she got her hands on one of my many lipglosses.
She never got it open thank goodness, but the girl is like her mom, she likes accessories and makeup!
I watched Jaylen today for a little while when Melody was getting her hair done. This is what she did for most of the time.

Oh well, I needed to organize the Tupperware anyway! It kept her out of the living room where Jaylen was sleeping.
After Jaylen woke up, Viv taught her the right way to do laundry.
It was an adventurous day!

Viv is into everything!

This is Viv's current obsession in our house. She goes over to the dog food bowl about 50 times a day. I have taken dog food out of her mouth before. Gross! I put up the baby gate so she couldn't get in, but then she fell through the gate and into the dog food. It was probably the best day of her life!
Another thing she's always into is anything in Matt's office. She loves all the cords and instruments and especially loves his pedal board.
This is how I found her the other day. I put her in the pack and play so that I could mop and when I went over to her, she was naked! She took her diaper off and was standing there all sad.
I had to take a picture, it was too cute! Sorry if I'm embarassing you Viv. Another obsession that I haven't gotten a picture of yet, is that she takes all the books that she can reach off the bookshelf in my bedroom. It drives me nuts! She does the same thing with the DVDs in the living room. Basically she loves emptying things out. I'll get a picture of the books, I know it will come up soon!

The fair

We went to the fair Friday night and had a great time. We split an indian taco and a cinnamon roll. The cinnamon roll was awesome!!!!!!!! Viv had so much fun looking at the people walking all around her. She was especially impressed with the really tall skinny guy in tight stone washed jeans and a spiderman shirt. I'm almost certain he just stepped out of a time machine from 1982.


This is right before the Hanson concert. Yes, we saw Hanson! We even saw one of the guys walking around the fair before they played with his wife and kids.

My big girl is 10 months old!

I decided that since I'm having a yucky day to go out in the back and do a photo shoot with Viv. It always makes me feel better! Hopefully the fair tonight and the massive cinnamon roll I'm planning on inhaling will make me feel better! I hope you enjoyed the new pics!

Yuck

I'm having a bad day, tell me something good or funny or cheer me up! Oh, Matt came home from work sick yesterday so he went to bed as soon as he got home and we didn't get to go to the fair. Maybe tonight...

It's our anniversary

Today is our 4 year anniversary! Here are some pics from our wedding day, when were young pups! *Oh yeah, Dara just reminded me one thing. This is also the historic 4 year anniversary of when Britney Spears and Kevin Federline were united in holy matrimony. Man, why couldn't those kids work things out??
This is the main wedding picture that I use, and that's not even my bouquet. I just this was taken at the reception and I couldn't find mine at that point so I borrowed one from a bridesmaid. It's always bothered me, I wish I had just taken the time to find mine!
This is the White House Mansion in Tulsa where we were married. We loved it there! That's us in the front yard waiting for the limo to arrive. He got lost!
This is our gorgeous wedding party. Most of my best girlfriends have moved! SAD.

Tonight we're going to the ever so romantic State Fair. We go every year and we thought it would be a fun, cheaper way to celebrate. Love you Matty!

Tutu cute!

I went looking at Halloween costumes for Viv the other day and didn't find anything that fit her personality. I was at Children's Orchard and saw some ballet outfits, only they were for older kids. It gave me a great idea though, she could be a ballerina! She's always on her toes so I though that it would be perfect. I decided to make a tutu so I headed to Hobby Lobby. Did I have any idea how to make one? No, but fate was on my side. While I was looking around the fabric section I ran into Andrea Reiger who had already made a tutu and she told me how to do it! What luck! Thanks Andrea, it was easy to do!
She loved trying it on and it kept her busy for a little while.

This is my favorite picture of her because I think she's posing just like a ballerina. So cute! I have to find a cute onesie for the rest of the outfit and I have an iron on ballerina I'm going to put on it. Anyone have ballet looking shoes for size 3??

Since Viv's hair is getting longer she often wakes up with a serious case of bed head. She got a really nice visit from the hair fairy the other day during her nap! I guess that she's not too embarassed though because she's waving at the camera!

This is Viv's best friend Daisy. I'm not sure how Daisy feels about it but she's very nice and patient with Viv.

Something about this picture reminded me of pictures of me when I was a baby. I think it's the eyes. Below is a picture of me, and I think there's a little resemblence. I know, she looks like Matty, but something about her has got to look like me too right??


The video shows off Viv's dancing skills! Every time she goes in Matt's music room and he turns on the keyboard she starts dancing and it's so funny! The video is kind of dark, (you know how those tortured artists rooms are), but hopefully you can see her shaking her groove thang!

Porter Pics

We went to Porter this weekend for my sister-in law Shelly's baby shower. I like taking Viv to Porter because she gets to see all the animals on the farm. There was also a beautiful field of yellow flowers that I had to take pictures of her in. Dad says that they're weeds, but they're pretty anyway!
Viv got to sit on mom and dad's miniature horse, but after a couple of seconds she wanted off!
I always wanted a girl that wouldn't be afraid to get dirty and play in the grass, and I got one!
