Camping and Mt. Hood

We spent this weekend up around Mt. Hood. It was wonderfully relaxing and the kids had a blast too. We really loved exploring Timberline Lodge and can't wait to go back this winter.

April Showers Bring May Flowers

We moved into our house in the beginning of August and so we had no idea that we would have so many flowering trees, bushes, and shrubs.  It has been a wonderful surprise, and Christian and I have both really enjoyed working out in the yard. Once we get the back yard finished, we'll post some from back there too. There is a cute little gazebo back there that we are trying to save.

Visit from Grammy and Cannon Beach

My Mom has been here visiting for the last week. The weather hasn't been the best, but we decided to head out to Cannon Beach for the first time and hope for sunshine. It was pretty cold and rainy for the first hour or so, but we tried to have fun anyway:

The sun finally came out but by that time we were all frozen and so we went to have lunch. After warming up, we drove down towards Haystack Rock. Thankfully the sun had warmed things up and we had a great time exploring the tide pools.
