Camille turns 4!!!

Happy Birthday Camille! We love you so much and could not imagine our lives without you. We are so blessed to have you in our lives. You bring us so much joy and happiness, you are our little princess. We love you :)

8 months old

Lynsie is 8 months old today. She just started crawling about a week ago.  She brings us so much joy and happiness. We just love this little girl so much, we can't get enough of her.

6 months old already?!

Where does the time go? It seems like just yesterday we were bringing her home from the hospital. Lynsie is such a good baby. She is always smiling and laughing.  We are so blessed to have her in our lives. We love you Lynsie!

Rice Cereal, Yum Yum!

To eat, or not to eat, that is the question?

So we started Lynsie on rice cereal for the first time last week. I think she ended up wearing most of it.

Your feeding me what?? Seriously people, you expect me to eat that stuff??
Ok, it wasn't that bad.

New Trees!!

Last Friday Dave, Camille, and I planted three new trees in our backyard so we can eventually have shade.  We planted the trees along our back fence. We did a maple tree on each side, and a honey locust in the middle.  The maple trees turn bright red, orange, and yellow in the fall, and the honey locust turns bright yellow in the spring and then again in the fall.

We picked the trees up while Camille was at school. We drove up to my parents house so we could borrow their truck, then drove to the nursery. After loading the trees into the truck it took us an hour to get home because we had to drive slow and couldn't go on the freeway. We arrived at Camille's school a few minutes early. I went in to get her and she said "mommy go home, preschool isn't over yet." I told her we had the new trees and we were going home to plant them.  She jumped right up and was ready to go plant trees. She was so excited to help us and was looking forward to it all day. She was such a big helper.

Camille has been so excited to start preschool. She was supposed to start last week, but her teacher had to have her appendix out and needed an extra week to recover. 

From the time she woke up this morning until we left she kept asking me if it was time to go yet.  Camille kept a close watch on her new backpack all morning long. Finally after lunch it was time to go. When we arrived at Mrs. Reid's house she yelled out "I'm here, I'm here." She went right inside and sat by all the other kids. When I came to pick her up Mrs. Reid said she did really well. I knew she would love preschool because she loves to learn, and she is a little social butterfly.

Sweet Dreams

One morning when I was at work Dave went in to wake up Lynsie so he could feed her. This is what he found.

Every year over the 24th of July my family goes to Fremont Lake in Wyoming. We boat, hike, ride bikes, play in the sand, and best of all kick back and relax. Almost every Sunday we go to my parent's house for dinner. Dave, Abby, and Aspen are visiting from West Virginia. Lynsie, Aspen, and Camille hanging out at Grandma's house.
