Easter 2012
Ella had very specific details in her request for her birthday cake. Check out the inside! It was fun to cut into the cake and see the bright colors blended together.
National Eagle Center. We were lucky to see these eagles up close. On our way home we got to see many eagles flying above us near the dam looking for their next meal. It was cool to see so many of them in one place soaring through the air.
The end of winter. Sadly, the kids only made a snowman 2 times because of few snowfalls.

The Easter Egg hunt that never was...We arrived right on time but apparently the hunt started early and there were no eggs. Thankfully Ella found 3 eggs and divided them up among her siblings. The kids were happy.

Valentine's Day
Rex and Ella constructed these valentine boxes themselves. Rex won "funniest" valentine box in his class. Rex's box is a monster and Ella's box is a butterfly.
Logan finally has some teeth.
It was nice and warm this year for Easter. Will and myself were really sick the whole week leading up to Easter. Somehow the Easter Bunny found our house even though we did not leave it.
Yep, we bang pots and pans over here on New Year's Eve. The kids love it.

Rex's 7th birthday party. We finally broke down and had the party at an indoor inflatable jump place. It was a lot of fun.

It is February and the snow has started to melt. It was an unusually warm winter. No complaints over here.

Rex turned 7. With his birthday so close to Christmas, we celebrated it with a cake and a few presents and then celebrated with his school friends in January. The last 2 years his birthday has fallen on his school's Polar Express Day, so he has worn PJ's on his birthday. His only request this year was a Super Mario cake.
Logan's 1st Christmas. He got a music giraffe just like one that I had as a child.
