Grandma,

Happy Birthday, yesterday! For your present we send you a picture of your great-grandson in the shoes you made for him. Thank you for using your talents to make things for your family. He loves the towel and ball that you made for him as well. I must admit that he hasn't really worn the shoes (they just don't work well in the Arizona heat), but now that it is "winter" here I am sure he will wear them everyday!

We are doing well. We are now in Scottsdale Arizona and we are very excited that it is cooling off. Yesterday Josh and I played tennis for a little while. J.Will was a very good observer in his bumbo. (thanks Brenda) He didn't quite keep up following the game, but he enjoyed the experience.

If anyone would like to come visit you are certainly welcome!

We love you all and miss having family close by.
