Life Update

My children are growing up really quickly, here is the latest pic of them.

Tahlia will be three next week, How can I describe her, independant, stubborn. She will give us Ulcers when we are older.

Her Smile

The week after Mum passed away, my beautiful friends put their money together and gave me a beautiful gift of a poem, it now sits on my kitchen window so whenever I do the dishes I think of Mum.

Her Smile

Though her smile is gone forever

and her hand I cannot touch

I still have so many memories

of the one I loved so much.

Her memory is a keepsake

with which I'll never part.

God has her in his keeping

I have her in my heart.

Sadly missed but never forgotten.

Lachlan Peter Scott Reeves

On Thursday, 28th April 2011. I was in this position, 39 weeks pregnant and about to have my 3rd child. This time it was by c-section. I remember feeling very nervous about the procedure because last time I had a c-section, I was completely knocked out. This time, I was awake. My main concern was, I would feel everything. However, have to say, most easy birth ever.

At 3.59pm, we had a slight sigh and then a big massive scream, we knew that our son has arrived, LACHLAN PETER SCOTT was born. Weighing 8lbs, 53cm in length and a head circumference 34cm. I have to say that I am glad that he wasn't pushed out.

It has been a long time...

I haven't blogged for ages, thought I should start it up again. There are so many moments that I want to report and I just don't know where to start. A lot of things about the kids as well. I have had 2 major events that have happened throughout the course of the 8 months of myself being absent. The first thing is that, I am pregnant again with baby number 3. This is all we know, I am currently 35 weeks pregnant, I am having a boy and he will be born in April sometime. We can't wait to meet him. He kind of surprised us before we went to our trip to America last year, 3 weeks before to be exact. Throughout the trip, I was very nervous, I was pretty sure that I was going to lose him but I was reassured by Priesthood blessings and my own faith that things will be ok. The next thing that happened is, we went to Canada and America and we had an excellent time! There is so much to report on the trip. We loved it! We saw so many church history sights and even went to General Conference. It was such a good experience!!! This is us at the Sacred Grove.

Hopefully I will be able to report a little bit more. I miss blogging.

The Seven Wonders

A couple of weeks ago, I received an Facebook message from my friend Mel telling us that it was a trivia night at her school and she wanted to get a table together if we are interested let her know. Of course, I said yes because my head is full of useless information and I am sure that it would be used to good use.

Last night, was the night. There was Seven of us (hence the name The Seven Wonders). We sat down through 10 rounds and at the end of the evening. We won.

Unfortunately, for me, This is what we won. A bottle of wine each. I am sure however our neighbours will be grateful :). We won also a free pizza voucher each which I am sure we will put to good use.

A Taste of Spring

The last couple of days in Newcastle, the days have provided a lot of nice warm sunshine with no clouds in the sky. It gives me an opportunity to open up my house and let the kids run free outside. Both of them have enjoyed jumping on the trampoline and playing outside. I took these pics of Declan making most of the sunny day.

I love this pic that Declan drew a self-portrait of himself, Can you notice his birthmark on his head? He also drew eyebrows as well.

The Fairy Princess

This week at Kindygym, The theme is Dragons, Fairies & Castles. This gave me the opportunity to dress Tahlia up now that she is a full-member of Kindygym. She enjoy putting on her fairy wing top and her tutu skirt. Many people at Kindygym made comment that she looked so cute!
