Aaron Joseph Puzey- Idaho

My buddy Aaron is an incredible musician. He traveled around a bunch this past summer and got to see a lot of america bouncing from state to state in a car. This particular video was filmed in North Carolina by his friend Benjamin. Its raw thanks to the filming of it being done on an iPhone 4s. Enjoy.

Lucero

If you want to listen to a bar band; listen to Lucero. These guys have the perfect sound. I wasn't going to go to the show but I was convinced by the guy to whom I had introduced the band to, and who had seen them at least three or four times that I needed to go. It's not that I didn't want to go, I just had had a long day and to be honest it was the same night I saw Megafaun and I felt like I could get away with not seeing them. I ended up submitting to the peer pressure and going and I must say I'm glad I did. The crowd was into it, the band knew what they were doing and they put on a hell of a show. Thanks for the peer pressure Greg.

Portugal. The Man

This video is a bit graphic towards the end. Even though it gets sorta gnarly, I wanted to post it because I liked it so much. I warned you about the blood so don't be mad if your mind gets boggled. There is a really interesting interview about it you can read right here. Sleep Forever is a neat song that you can find on the upcoming album entitled, "In The Mountain In The Cloud".

Lord Huron- When Will I See You Again

Very enjoyable song. I liked how simple they made it for this outing by the shore. The version on their EP is good too but I like this version a bit better.

Belongings

This video starts off pretty slow and quite regular in my opinion. The piano has a nice flow to it but the real kicker about the video is the cinematography. Things get pretty rad at about the two minute and fourty seven second mark. I respect the man's beard in this video. having a beard like that is something for me to shoot for this summer. It's a worthy summer goal in my eyes.

Now, Now

Great little jam session here. I think the keyboard starts off a little strong but it still sounds good. Now, Now is a great band from Minnesota worth checking out. Do it. It's worth it.

40 Day Dream

I like when bands make music videos for all the songs on their album. Especially if they make them all go together to make one giant story. Edward Sharpe is doing just that. Here is their latest. I enjoyed it. Hopefully you do too.
